Just cheking.. if one has two Pelta class ships, one can have 2 different upgrades affecting the fleet, right?

Sure can.

Peltas are ok for the cost of the ship. Some people think of the Interdictor as too expensive for the ship but the experimental upgrades are very cheap so it all averages out. I think double Pelta fleets won't suffer half as much as double Interdictor.
