Yeah, this was a rush job. They made and shipped what they could in time for the movie. I've heard of/seen a couple U-wings floating around (but not many) here in the Twin Cities and no Tie Strikers.

On Rogue One premiere night at my LGS the shipment came in by Saturday hey had gone through (according to them over 150 Tie Striker, and 100 U-Wing Expansions) I was lucky to get 3 U-Wings and 2 Tie Strikers for myself; when I went in yesterday they said they will not be getting anymore until the release of the Sabine Tie/Upislon Class Shuttle are shipped. I think FFG knew that this would occur, glad I got mine they're both nice expansions.
Preorders are such a wonderful thing...
Preorders are meaningless when both local stores get screwed by the distributor.

Though, to be fair, it seems like Esdevium didn't get a **** thing to distribute to anyone in UK/Ireland, or if they did, they were in tragically small numbers. Certainly nobody that I know here, or in the UK, got their hands on anything. I'm looking at a similar situation for the new Armada releases now, too.
You can preorder up the wazoo, but if entire countries aren't getting anything, you'll still be waiting.

One local store got three TIE Strikers and zero U-Wings. No other stores got anything.
FFG always sells out of product at first release (note the product page will go from "not yet released" to "out of stock" immediately, for every product). FFG always prioritizing getting copies to their distributors first, then they'll fill their own coffers sometime later.
I've seen a few TIE Strikers, but U-Wings are all sold out.
Exact opposite here, we have u wings for days, no one wants them but strikers sold out pretty much as they were taking them out of the box.
B-Wings and HWKs are a great deal at CSI.....wait, wrong wave. I'm behind a bit.
