Of a Rogue One Beginner box set?

I have yet to see the movie but have the visual guide so they could start off with the attack on Jedha even have your PCs connected with Saw's group or smugglers before getting them involved with the attack on Scarif?

Maybe explain they were the ones that persuaded the Rebels to mount the attack on Scarif to help retrieve and tried to draw off pursuit of the Rebel flagship but Vader wasn't fooled?

Doubtful.

With TFA it made a degree of sense to have a Beginner Box because it was a setting/era that's outside the established paradigm of the core product lines.

With Rogue One, that's set pretty close to ANH, so a Beginner Box experience is already covered by the existing Age of Rebellion set.

Pass up the chance to involve a game set on Jedha leading to helping in the fight on Scarif showing the rebels did try to draw off pursuers of the Rebel flagship and Tantive IV?

Let alone stats for U-Wings, new Imperial ships & tanks let alone maybe some clone war era ships to show the Empire still used them since they were building TWO Death Stars after all?!

However, they might release a “Rogue One” related free downloadable mini-adventure.

I would love to see an equipment/vehicle splat book. Something that would have stats for the U-Wings, TIE Strikers, the Republic-era A6 Juggernaut, the AT-ACTs, and a host of other new items.

We all want this stuff. So, I think they will spread it throughout future AoR supplements. That way we have to buy it all to get the R1 vehicles.

Plus, the Beginner Box for TFA didn't include any vehicle stats, despite the fact that a few of the new vehicles introduced were actually part of the adventure, such as the Quad Jumper that one of the PCs owns and operates.
