But we already have an ISD-I
Quasar Fire-class and... Acclemator-class for Imperials. Actually, it's hard for me to think of a canon Imperial ship without dipping into prequel territory.
Plenty of Legends ships have been recanonized already - they could pick one of those.
Fair point. Though it seems that FFG tries to pick from stuff that's shown up on screen first before they start digging further.
The VicStar, the Assault Frigate, and the Raider are all exceptions - though the majority of ships have appeared in the OT or in Rebels.

Very true. Better to break the "just make ships that have shown up in canon" rule than deny the player base stuff to play with.
I have to wonder if the Assault Frigate Mk.II and the Victory-class Star Destroyer were already in development for Armada and slated to go before the announcement of what things were moved to Legends canon. The Raider is FFG's own creation, so I suppose they can break their own "stick to canon" rules with that if they want. Although I thought I heard rumor that the Raiders may have been mentioned in a book. I don't have a source to confirm it, sorry.
I think the MC30's only appearance is still from the Empire at War: Forces of Corruption video game. So there's another exception to the "always canon" ships.

And X-Wing already had a Millennium flacon and T70 X-Wing, yet they released a movie tie in pack with repaints for those, which inlcuded new cards.
So whats your point. These are predictions, not a wishlist.

Lost Stars novel :
Ciena went to a viewscreen and pulled up a three-dimensional view of the battle, in miniature. If she could convince Grand Moff Randd to split up the fleet, to attack the rebel star cruisers from multiple directions, maybe even to send one of the twenty-gun raiders into the atmosphere to support the TIE fighters battling near the planet’s surface—at the very least they’d shake the rebels up. They desperately needed any advantage they could claim.
It's not 100% proven that the "twenty-gun raider" and the Raider are the same - but it did seem suggestive.

Given the intent the narrator seemed to want to use the mentioned Raider in (supporting the TIE Fighters), it sounds like it could be the Raider corvette we've all come to know and love (or loathe). Or maybe it's a variation. Not enough evidence to say for sure.

Wookieepedia says they have a single turbolaser, and ion cannon and 12 dual heavy turbolaser cannons.
And FFG released it before the book was released. And Wookieepedia doesn't cite the book as an appearance for the Raider.
It's possible though.

This is still FFG star wars, not another company
This is Spartaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
I just watched the movie and wow...
Ok, if we get the MC-75 it should have the ability to launch a CR-90 as an escape vehicle for the ship commander. I think it also should be a medium base ship.
Hammerhead corvettes would be nice, but I don't think they should have the ramming ability. Got to remember it was a chain of events that enable the Rebels to do that. An X-wing strike took out a shield generator, then a Y-wing bombing run with ion torpedoes disabled it and then it was a desperation tactic to push the Star Destroyer into the other one.
It would be awesome to get a ISD-I with some new titles, maybe Director Kennric as a possible office or admiral.

I've played the games from that company, nice story lines, rules are fairly good but I'll take FFG with their release issues over them.

So we should drop $50 for a ship we already have? Just to get the titles and a new paint job?
There is more content for FFG to explore than to go back and start remaking ships like they are doing in X-Wing. I'm not opposed to getting an ISD, but like you said, this is wave prediction.
So what's your point? Why do we need another ISD? According to Shmitty's data, large ships are not doing incredibly well. ISDs have the highest win rate at 25%, and there is another thread saying activation advantage is making it harder to fly large ships because they are a huge point sink.
Cool, we have another ISD-I. Now what? What's different? Why should the new ISD-I get more play time than the old one?
Between Rogue One, Star Wars Rebels, and a New Hope the ISD-I WILL have the most screen time of the two models. Given that the next two spinoff films are most likely set before A New Hope we'll see ISD-I's there as well.
The ISD-I is poised to be the most iconic variant of the Star Destroyer on the big and small screen. It would be a crime to not get a model of one with a repaint.

Interestingly, the Rebels ones (aside from the targeting array) look more like ISD-IIs despite canonically being ISD-Is. Specifically, the bridge domes have the same triangular panels (and long thin vanes on the tops) and the turrets are recessed in the same way. The engines also lack the triple vanes that the ISD-I has.

Anyone knows what is the shuttle the death troopers used to take land in the battle is scarif?
I think we are far more likely to see the First Order star destroyer than another ISD. I hope the next wave is:
I also think another type of flotilla will make an appearance sooner rather than later

It's worth noting that flotillas are not restricted to using a small base. We could potentially see a medium-base Hammerhead flotilla. Or even a flotilla of existing ship types, e.g. CR90, Raider or Nebulon-B.
Obviously this is not very likely in the short term - but the possibility does exist.

Those are Imperial Giraffe Class Star Destroyers.
But am I the only one who noticed the Bra'Tohk Corvettes and Tie Boarding Craft in Rogue One?
Im also expecting to see the new 1st order Star Destroyer in the next wave.
The Hammerhead CR90 can easily be a Title, and it should since it seemed to be a single ship in Rogue1, a retrofit.
I agree an ISD-1 pack will come out. It almost HAS to. Give it a fancy name like "ISD - Guardian Configuration"
Look at it this way - The MC-80 was already in the game when the Liberty was announced - so now we have two separate MC-80 expansions for the Rebels. No reason why they cannot do the same thing for Imperials.
Also - the rebels have a TON of new content at this point - with the Hammerheads, the MC-75, and the Brahatoks in Rogue One, that is THREE fresh ships that are now in a brand new movie - and the Empire didn't get a single new ship. So it'd gonna have to bee an ISD1. A rear-Defensive version, IE maybe a ship that isn't built for patrolling deep space. It might have slower movement, but tons more black dice and better shielding.
Come to think of it, those two ISD-1s did withstand a TON of rebels - for a little while.

Hammerhead is an entirely different class of ship. There were multiples of them in Rogue One and there are three in SW Rebels. It's not a CR-90 at all.
