I was thinking about a list inspired by Blue Squadron in the Battle of Scarif.

So lots of X-Wings, Y-Wings and the occasional U-Wing. Nothing super competitive but fun and fluffy! Heres my first idea so far:

100pt Blue Squadron

X-Wing Biggs, R4-D6, Integrated (26pts)

X-Wing Rookie, R2 Astro, Integrated (22pts)

U-Wing Pathfinder, FCS, Title, Inspiring Recruit (26pts)

Y-Wing Gold Sq, BTL-A4, TLT, R3-A2 (26pts)

Thoughts?

I'm not sure any Y-wings made it down to the surface. Maybe a gunner/tactician U-wing for a stresshog?

If outside the shield...... that Y-wing should probably have ion torpedoes (or a bomb loadout)

Yea I thought that might be the case. I couldn't quite remember.

And I don't remember seeing and U-Wings in the space battle...

So I guess it's X's and Y's for a space battle list and X's and U's for a beach assault.

I think that the Uwing functions much like the Republican gunships do in The Clone Wars. They can do space fighting, but they're mainly meant to provide air support and tactical insertions. So, the three that they deployed all went for the shield gate, and if they didn't make it in, probably jumped away, or went to the back of the battle where they wouldn't get their cargoes killed.

But, if you were looking to make a list, I'd go with

Red Squadron Pilot 24

R2 Astromech

Integrated Astromech

Heff Tobber

Bistan

Pivot Wing

And either Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, or if you want to be true to the film, maybe even Saboteur, which, while usually bad, might have a place in this list.

Or, just toss in FCS and call it a day. I'd just rather give Heff something like Saboteur or Jyn in order to take advantage of the free actions. But if you can find a better use for any of the points, then lemme know, because I might want to run it.
