Lets say i have two dice. 1 for one melee damage and 1 for three melee dmg but requiring a resource. Can i choose NOT to pay the 1 resource and thus only resolve the melee die that does one damage? Can i then pay 1 resource in another round in order to do three damage, or did the die get used in the previous round where i resolved my melee dice?
If i have a die requiring me to spend 1 resource to do melee damage, does it get removed resolve the rest of my melee dmg and i dont pay?
Yes.
By which I mean: You can resolve the free die and leave the cost die sitting there until later. When you spend a die, you have the option of spending all other dice showing the same symbol - you are by no means compelled to do so.
