So the U-wing has just been release and that's not good enough for you,

As it's been said the Y-wings were Yellow for Gold Squadron.

Since Rogue One is so full of X-wings we are sure to get a Rogue One expansion,

but it won't have another blue U-wing.

I feel you, but considering we don't see the U-wing again in Episodes 4, 5, 6, or 7, it's a safe bet FFG won't make another expansion with it. I really really wish Disney had been more forthcoming about what was in Rogue One so that FFG had gotten the chance to make a side gunner Ion Cannon upgrade. But maybe Disney did, maybe FFG considered it, and rejected it - the arcs on the thing being odd, a 90° auxiliary arc on each side?

As I have said several times in various places, my bet is we'll see an expansion with a Blue X-wing and a Gray Y-wing. Maybe SWX58 got pulled because it would have started a useless one ship Partisan sub-faction (stand alone movie), and the Partisan X-wing is being replaced with a Blue X-wing.

Could U=wing Ion Cannons be Battlefront DLC? I'm sure that is possible.

What? I was talking about the movie, where it looks like they chew the leg off an AT-AT.

That may not have been an ion cannon glow - but the energy field of the legs of walker itself (it's so tall the leg joints need a special tensor energy field to prevent the leg itself from collapsing - Rogue One Ultimate Visual Guide).

Either way 90 degree side arcs would be tricky. And since I know some one will mention the mobile firing arc of the Shadow Caster, that's not the same as an Auxiliary Firing arc... so a future U-wing expansion would require new bases to do that.

Rebel Veterans with one Blue Squadron X-Wing and one Partisan X-Wing in the box. Kinda like how the Imperial Aces box had 2 different Tie Interceptors.

New X-wing pilots, and a variety of cards that can benefit the X-Wing, Y-Wing, E-wing, and hell maybe even a tweak or two for B-wing. To make all these ships nicely viable in a variety of roles.

I'd buy 4 sets. For the upgrades, and because I love the idea of having a bunch of X-Wings in different paint jobs.

I'm all for an X+Y pack, IMO it's too early for an U-wing, even though the movie provides us an alternative paint scheme.

X-would obviously be Blue Squadron, Y-wing... we need more pilots, there are two Golds left from ANH, and at least one new in Rogue. Norra in the novels, Chopper, Rex and everyone's favourite Sabine in Rebels.

Considering we already have a Gold Squadron paint scheme on the standard Y, the repainted one could be Grey Squadron.

Yeah in Battlefront they had Y-wings ion the AT-AT in assault. I can see Rouge One DLC where instead of Y-wings they are U-wings.

If they do this, they should absolutely add in a U-wing fix with K2-SO pilot and crew cards. Also watching the above scene, a door gunner mechanic similar to the shadow caster arc would really be cool. Point the arc to either the left or right of the primary to get an attack.

I just want to see Tycho and Corran in X-wings. With Ooryl and Gavin. And a fix for the E-wing. And a dang EPT for Horton. Is that to much to ask?

I would love to see a blue squadron veterans pack. Maybe two blue squadron x-wings pilots, and "blue squadron y-wing" pilots. I put them in quotations because they came from other squadrons. Would add more variety to y-wings pilots and potentially add a new pilot with an EPT.The set could also address some x-wing issues where it needs a buff.

This is just what I would want. Really fell in love with the blue squadron markings on the x-wings.
