I'm in! I've been looking to break into this game for a while.

I've tried two shops, both of which focus X-Wing. Looking to build a community as both shops told me they sell plenty of the miniatures. Looking to spark enough interest at at least one of them to encourage them to participate in Regional Qualifiers so I don't have to drive over two hours to play twice a month.

If we can get Sharif, the owner, to dig up those unused tournament kits, I think that would motivate some people to join the games.

The kits were mentioned when I floated the idea originally. I think they want to see some interest before they roll out the rewards, though (understandably). I also spoke to an employee, not the owner, so take that with a grain of salt. I've finished a flyer I put together to try and gain some interest but have run out of colored ink. I'll be up there tomorrow after I get a new cartridge and have it laminated.

In preparation of the games you're organizing, I just got caught up on all the Armada expansions!

I was just in Mega today, myself. I'll be there on Wednesdays @ 5pm starting on the 4th (this week). I hope to see you come by. If you have anyone that's interested in a demo, I'll have a Core Set on hand to showcase the basics.

we'd love to have you come out and join us. We've been starting at 5:15-5:30 on Wednesdays. Bring an opponent or play one of us. There is enough room for at least two games to be running. Interest is picking up at Mega Gaming and Comics and we're hoping to have another 1-2 people joining us by the end of the month.
