Dear Santa FFG:

I've been a very good boy this year. I've bought all of your X-Wing releases, and even the Armada and Imperial Assault ones even though X-Wing is my favorite game. I've flown casual. I went to Store Championships, and Regionals, and Nationals, and Worlds, and didn't complain about being cannon fodder for flying fun rather than tier one meta lists. So with all that, could you see it in your heart to grant some of my wish list this year? I'd like:

1. A competitive upgrade for T-65s, so we see more than Biggs on the table. Make X-wings great again.

2. A T-47, a T-16, and a Bespin Cloud Car. I know they're "airspeeders" but I don't care; they'll look great on the table and would be really fun in the game, and that's what this is all about, isn't it? Besides any real Star Wars fan has to acknowledge that The Empire Strike Back is the best movie and that there is plenty of in-atmosphere dogfighting in the series.

3. A Scum Epic ship. They need some love, too, even if it's just a set of rules for using GR-75s and CR-90s with Scum.

4. An official X-wing campaign. C'mon, you know you love X-wing more than Armada.

5. A Rebel Y-wing with an EPT. 'Cause Tyree and "Pops" Krail need to "stay on target".

P.S. If you're really feeling generous, how about an X-wing-compatible Ground Assault game so we can play the Battle of Hoth, or maybe Takodana? I want X-wings and TIE Fighters and Snowspeeders dogfighting over AT-ATs and AT-STs and turrets and infantry, 'cause its cool and the best battle in the best movie in the series must be acknowledged.

Rebel Ywing with ept exists, using the astromech from rebel transport expansion (at least, I can think of no other good use for him).

More Ywing pilots could be a good thing though, so it might work.

Biggs sees use still, so any fix for the t65 would be more about getting other pilots out on the table.

Absolutely agreed about the scum epic ship. This needs to happen.

Dear Santa FFG,

It's me again. First off, thank you SO much for releasing me as a ship. I can't thank you enough for that. It really was a long shot, but being able to creep into the line up between some of your big hitters was the surprise of a lifetime.

As you know, I've had a bit of a rough year. My group of friends has dwindled significantly this year. I could always count on TB and TD hanging out with me in the bin on tourney days, but that isn't the "case" anymore (get it? Case? Because that's where we are stuck? Ok, sorry. You know I've always been a "punny" guy). In fact, I think it's your right to know as FFG Santa, that TD has turned into a real terror. The best of buds before this year, now he is talking down to me and giving our pilot a sideways look whenever we are fielded together on casual night... I don't know what you did to him, but he sure hasn't been a good boy this year. Maybe you could knock him down a few "pegs" (get it? Ok I'll stop.) to humble him a bit.

As for me? Well, I had a talk with M3-A the other day (guy has put on a bit of weight, but that's beside the point), and he talked about how you didn't even need to release a new expansion to help him out. It sounded like a bunch of magic humbo jumbo, like "the force" or something. But then I saw him on the table, and he was doing some great things! He even says a couple buddies of his from the shelf days have been on the final tables of regionals! My shelf buddies? Well... They're on the shelf with the elf...

So, FFG Santa, all I want this year is a little FAQ errata magic. I know I'm not a big name like a lot of your big sellers, but I long to see a tournament table or two. And no need to go overboard either. I don't want to turn into a pretentious snob like TD is now, who now makes sure everyone refers to him by his "real" name, x7. Come on dude, I've seen you trying on the Tie/D title in middle of the night to see what it feels like. You're not fooling anyone.

PS- Firespray only visits on rare occasion, but he still cries all the time despite having some more friends. Any ideas of how I can help the guy out? I tell him how nifty LRS are, but he doesn't seem convinced that's enough for him.

PSS- Don't ever release atmospheric only ships like someone else might have asked you to in a letter. That's a terrible idea.

never atmospherics, unless they give every ship new dials to account for atmospheric flight, and also every atmospheric craft has 1-2 attack dice and 1 hull because they're not designed to take hits from ******* massive lasers

I want a bright red Hammerhead Corvette. I know I'm cutting in line for a Scum heavy, but just last night a HHC went from being canon (which is a good start for getting into X-Wing) to the savior of the entire Rebel fleet. And Christmas is all about the saviors, right?

Dear Santa,

I want an E-Wing fix that makes me as excited to play them as the x7 title made me for playing Defenders. I want the Gauntlet Fighter with Maul as a pilot and a crew. I want card only packs that provide upgrades and pilots for ships who don't have enough content for a full pack or don't need another model. I am sad that K-2 isn't a pilot for the U-Wing, but there isn't a reason to release a full second U-Wing expansion, so this seems like the best solution to me.

What I want is something relatively small. I'm not asking for a big fix for an entire ship class, or some big ship for Epic. No, I am concerned for those who are less fortunate than I am, those who don't get played with not because of their ship, but because they have struggled with some handicap since they were born. These pilots are near and dear to my heart Santa, and I know they are to yours too. So I want a Card only kit that fixes specific pilots that have been exiled to the Isle of Misfit Pilots. So this is my wish list:

1. Horton Salm with an EPT

2. Major Rhymer 3 points cheaper

3. Lt. Lorrir doesn't get a Stress when he does his ability, and has an EPT

4. Kir Kanos gets an EPT

5. Arvel and Gemmar get EPTs

There may be others who need your help Santa, I just wanted to alert you to the need, but I know you already know. Just reissue these cards in a small pack, for like 5 bucks (or put it in my stocking) and anyone who likes these pilots would pick them up immediately. And these don't even really need to be playtested, since for the last few years these pilots never see play because of these concerns. Please Santa, you're their only hope.

Yep, my brothers are mostly, selflessly correct. Poor Horton Salm would shine with an EPT. Major Rhymer is way to costly on his squad points. The Star Viper needs some love. The Punisher needs to be able to field lightweight frame with Autothrusters and have free, unlimited extra munitions. We would gladly adore a T-65 cost reduction and we'll give up Biggs boring/overpowered ability in return so we can actually fly X-wings as they're intended. And if generic Es and Interceptors can get some love without OP-ing Horn and Fel, that would be awesome sauce!
