Yes, it says "un autre escadron allié..."

His ability is kind of whatever (I mean, who brings Advanced to a game and expects them to do heavy damage?), but consider that (a) red antisquadron dice are extra nice with a reroll ability for the double hit potential, and (b) much more importantly, he's an Imperial Brace/Brace escort squadron that's six points cheaper than Vader. That alone makes him good.

Zertik Strom is the TIE Advanced Ace Unique... He has 3 Reds as his Anti-Squadron, Escort, and can make an Enemy Squad within Distance 1 Take a damage in order to let him reroll as many dice as he wants...

Tempest Squadron is the TIE Advanced Unique Squadron... It simply has Bomber as an addition to its keywords.

Of course, When viewed in French and translated to English, Tempest and Storm are very similar... However... Tempest squadron is the known Squadron in legends as the name.

for some reason I was under the impression that friendly squadrons at distance 1 could suffer a damage to re-roll any number of dice in there attack pool. Must have been some miss-interpenetration on my part, because now everyone is saying that he gets the re-roll. I guess with all the confusion going around we will just have to wait for an English version of the card to confirm, but if it is true that he gets the re-roll well there goes my tie defender screen dream

Actual wording may differ, but that's what the French card says.

But I had a game yesterday and my opponent insisted that you can use the rr as many time you want, because it says "while you are attacking" and there is nothing which gets exhausted and stops this ability.

So he did it 1, 2, 3 times with 2 red dice and gave 3 damage to a nearby Tie-bomber.

Is this legal?

He killed Luke, but I tabled him afterwards.

RRG, page 5: a 'while' effect can be resolved during the specified event and cannot occur again during that instance of the event.

Yep, the above is the rule. The only thing that he could do twice is if Jendon comes up and gives Zertik a new attack, he could re-roll, once, any red die from this new attack.

I guess if Dengar and / or Gorran were in the fleet and applicable, it could allow Zertik to add his special to reroll the blue Counter dice.

He can trigger his ability once per attack. Correct. Doesn't matter how that attack is triggered. (Jendon, counter, etc.)
