Rogue one ships, supply and demand.

By Vykk Draygo, in X-Wing

How many people located in the U.S. Are seeing supply issues? We receive our stock through a distributor here in the southeast. We were allocated to zero ships for this release. Heroes of the resistance was also allocated down to one package. How many others across the continental United States are seeing these same issues? I have always supported the local FLGS and was taken in by the big spill awhile back about strengthening the relationship with the FLGS only to see these things take place. I'm curious if it's due to the local distributor, who is one of the largest in the southeast and mentioned by name in the articles about the price hikes to online retailers, or if it's a supply issue with FFG. Thanks for the feedback

it's a supply issue. it has nothing to do with distributors. distributors make the order, then they get allocated by ASMODEE. I'm not sure if they're transitioning between new printing locations or if shipments are just being delayed on some of the product. but something's up.

My guess is they wanted to have a release of the movie ships right before the movie but they allocated only a small stock release. Just enough to get it out and into circulation but not at the numbers that would come in a full release. I would expect to see more Strikers and U-wings when the rest of the wave hits the store.

The mouse has it in their contract they must have stuff ready by movie time obviously the time requirements means they had to release even with low stock levels.

Far from ideal but they had to meet that stipulation or face penalties.

Store here has zillions of strikers and u wings since they opened yesterday.

Wich is really wierd. They usually domt get much.

I normal dont get new stuff till it been out like 6 months at this point am always a wave behind only wave I not by anything from is the wave with t-70 and new ties our new core set. Never seen why we we need a new starter with a different xwing and tie fighter and a re skin

Same with mine; walked in and there on the table sat 20 U-Wings and about 30 Tie Strikers. Best part this weekend was a 30% off weekend so I got 30% off my 3 U-Wings. So it basically was buy 2, get one FREE :)

Both local both local stores had more than demand. Sounds more like a local distributor failure.

Amazon have always had every X-Wing ship listed even before they were released. For some reason, none of the Wave 10 ships are showing up.

That seems really weird. Even if they didn't have any in stock, they'd still have the product on there listed as out of stock. But there's just nothing.

This must be a sample of this "new" math I keep hearing about ... ;) :P :D

Buy 2 get 1 free would be $60 for 3 ships. 30% off would be $63 for 3 ships.

I live in WA near Seattle.

My LGS got 3 of each depite having ordered more.

I was told that the distributor didn't get the full order and rationed.

I love new math... especially when it involves X-Wing minis

They got in trouble for sending me vets before anyone else on the planet, I feel guilty but Amazon said we are cool.

Apparently we also have a supply problem. Called four stores currently one tie striker in stock.

Store one: OOS received none

Store two: OOS received one of each

Store three: OOS not sure what the got. But did get something

Store four: one striker left, received 6 strikers 0 u-wings

I have one more store I could call but I'd rather buy from amazon than that guy.

Here in NE Ohio our lgs got his full order. Not sure of other stores in the area.
