I know some of us watched, and enjoyed it. So thought I'd let you all know that season two is just a bit more then a month away.

My son will be pretty happy about this. I'm surprised it's been less than 1 year. I'm still waiting for other shows to make Season 2.

With how animation is ordered, the second season was probably almost done when they released the first season. They just split the first batch they ordered into two seasons. They probably have also ordered another batch by now if they were pleased with the reception.

I liked it and my 12 year old son liked it. It's a bit of a mismatch between anime and western styles.

Anime is difficult because you not only have to wait for enough content to make (and AoT is a bit slower than the weekly shonen series).

Yes.

For the most part theres usually a ton of manga completed before a show gets created, whether a show get's multiple seasons is almost exclusively based merchandise sales and Bluray preorders in Japan. AoT has both of these in spades and the story is there but the story, past where they ended, is in large parts garbage (objectively). Considering it's gotten 25 episodes + OVA's ,a couple live action movies as well some spin offs I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the next season but it will come once people stop buying what they are making now.

Voltron was really good and I'm glad the turnaround on it was quick.

Binged. It was awesome.

And now I'm off to look for the Legendary action figures.

I'm getting season 1 again to play catch up with my eldest (once we finish Korra)

i also have the Voltron steelbook from back in the day to watch with him (original not legendary defender) i have taught him well.

Binging again to get ready for Season 3. Which is available tomorrow. Though a side note, Season 3 is shortened, but Season 4 will be along in Oct.
