Does anyone know the diameter of the pegs on the Armada fighters? I want to buy some copper tubes to mount them in for painting.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but try ear buds (Americans call them Q-Tips?) and just chop the furry bit off.

Unfortunately not that simple.

You have to get the Plastic-Handled ones...

Actual Q-Tip Brand Q-Tips have a solid paper handle instead... Which is totally effin' useless.

Different brands of q-tips also have different diameters, sadly.

I can't remember if I took measurements from the single-peg squadrons, peg ships, or the fighter squadrons for this measurement, but here's what I've got.

Thanks for the help. I picked up an 1/8" brass rod and it works almost perfectly. Put a piece of tape on the peg, and it goes in pretty solidly.

I might look for some of the right sized plastic qtips...

12 gage copper wire works perfectly for ship pegs that break off. It is rigid, but easy to file to get the flat front. I have yet to try it on a fighter, but it should work.
