switch the roles around...carnor in the fray and vessery doing the flanking vulture routine.

To me they both seem functional to win a game or two. they both seem interesting enough to play and not get bored.

The jax version seems to be a little better prepared to handle other defenders and mindlink things. the fel version seems better prepared to endgame.

Let me know if I am blindly missing something major with this archetype.

Or, Is better to leave the paper tiger interceptors in the drawer, and hop on the commonwealth defender train.

The second list looks interesting. I just can't imagine flying an Interceptor without PTL though.

As boring as it sounds the second list would be better off with x7 and Juke on Vessery and PTL on Carnor. There's a reason they are basically stapled on.

Also you don't have an effective way to trigger Vessery's ability. Carnor isn't going to want to TL with his only action and Palp generally doesn't want to be that close, at least not right away

Pairing Vessery with The Inquisitor could potentially trigger Vessery's ability every round, and each ace would basically be getting 3 actions per round plus a Palp modification.

The first list might work if you're able to fully take advantage of lone wolf in a three-ship list, but it isn't as synergetic as I normally prefer with my lists.

As for the second list, well, to be honest I don't see it working at all, for reasons that have already been mentioned. I've played Jax (with PtL, AT and hull) alongside Omega Leader and Rexler (both with juke, OL with Comm Relay) to great effect at my first regional of the season, and more recently I've gone undefeated with Jax (same configuration), OL and Kagi with sensor jammer and Palpatine. I thought it would be a Tier 2 list but it's shocking how effective that 39-point shuttle is.

If I were to combine Jax with a defender and the Emperor, I'd take your list above (the one in the post just above mine), but would recommend changing Vessery for Maarek, dropping the shuttle's title and then either giving Jax a hull/shield or sensor jammer to the shuttle. So basically I'm recommending that you combine your lists
