What was that ring thing that we saw in the trailers? Some kind of base or something? Would that be appropriate to have in the game at all, or was it specific to the plot of the movie/Death Star itself?
[MINOR SPOILERS] New ships in Rogue One
Planetary shield gate. Might eventually show up as part of a future objective card.
It takes up a good bit of the last part of the movie. It was pretty good if you ask me.
"Battle of Yavin" pretty good or "Battle of Endor" pretty good?
Closer to Endor but on a significantly smaller scale.
Were the Tantive I-III there?
Like Star Wars, they started with the 4th one but have yet to make the first 3. They'd probably suck anyways.
Nope, if it's there it's in the background. No Rebels characters were spotted either.
There was, however, a call for General Syndulla over the comms on Yavin.
Draw your own conclusions.
That'd be Hera's father, no?
Also: supposedly, Chopper was going to have a cameo in one of the base scenes rolling around. See anything like that? Or...not easy to tell, probably...
The new shuttle (Krennic's) already announced for X-Wing
Ehhhh...when was Krennic's shuttle announced for X-Wing? Hasn't been announced at all, for anything, as far as I'm aware?? (Seems like it'd be WAY too big for X-Wing, anyway...)
Hera's father didn't strike me as the team player type. My guess Hera moved up. But they definitely made it ambiguous on purpose.
I read an article that Admiral Raddus is the Star Wars version of Winston Churchill...so... Does he sound like Churchill?
Just got out of Rogue One.
No opportunity to freeze-frame, of course, but I identified the following ships:
-Various ISD-I, including the Devastator
Any chance there were Star Destroyer types other than ISD-I? Not exactly holding my breath that we ever see a Victory-class on-screen, but...ya never know...
Just got out and wow! Armada fans will not be disappointed! No spoilers but it's the best sw space battle ever!!!
Of course I would say that because it's in my mind still. Hammerhead as to come to armada now.
What was the mon cal ship it was like a giant assault frigate maybe larger than an Isd?
The space station was pretty cool and I guess could come as a model it certainly held a few ties!
Is it too much to hope for that the last shot of the film is the Tantive coming out of hyperspace near a planet with binary suns?

I conclude the Rebels hand out that title like candy at Halloween.
The Rebels must be in it deep to make Walter White a General.
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dauntless-class_heavy_cruiser
this was the new cap ship of admiral raddus the shape and the fin/bridge thing it was a remake of the Dauntless just like the assault frigate MK1 got
I hope for it I loved the new ship and I love the good old Dautless class all rebel cap ship dont have to be a MC just the admiral XD
The 'Mon Cal' ship looked a lot like the old EU Dauntless Class cruiser to me. As made popular in the game Rebellion/Supremacy.
Any confirmation that the VCX-100 was the Ghost?
Yes!!
If we ever get hammer heads that tactic had better work

No, but it's better than that imo. Wait and see ![]()
If we ever get hammer heads that tactic had better work
I want a fleet of hammerheads!

I want a fleet of hammerheads!
now I'm afraid I have already played against a corvette swam, I won but my god it was work
but then again the tactic only worked because Dutch lead a bombing run and disabled the ISD first
what I want to know is when will my Y Wing be able to do that?
FFG give us Ion Torpedoes for Bombers in Armada!!!!
Y wings ion an Isd in the film!
Can you specify what defined the big rebel ship as a Mon Cal? Dialogue, dislpay, crew,, etc?
It didn't look like other Mon Cal ships. It also had a lot of human crew.
It was admiral blue-face's flagship. That's about it.
My first thought was "Giant Nebulon-B"... so same shape with large vertical "fin" at the front like a Nebulon, at the bottom of which was the bridge...
And that rebel transport vs ISD...

Film is incredible btw...

It's confirmed: flotillas do not deal damage to other ships when overlapping ![]()

It's confirmed: flotillas do not deal damage to other ships when overlapping
It's also confirmed that a Large ship does 3 dmg to a flotilla when ramming. So they need to change that rule.
I'll make a bold statement.
Rogue One is the new gold standard for SW:Armada action on the big screen.
Funnily enough, the same could be said of the gold standard of Imperial Assault action...
Everything that can happen in Armada, literally happened in Rogue One. That just fills me with so much fanboy glee! Almost as if Gareth Edwards plays the game.
