Soilers but not what you think

By X Wing Nut, in X-Wing

I am kinda disappointed in BoShek ...

The Upsilon's dial is just a little bit better than I was expecting. It would seem Bomber Synchroniser and Battleship-Palp lists are a go!

1 and 3 hards and 2 white hard AND 0 stop? yeah that's pretty fantastic for the upsilon and I'd even say better than the u-wing to an extent, would be nice to have 1 or 2 more green but this was better then what I expected. I can see engine upgrade and advance sensors being fantastic friends for the Upsilon.

Ugh, the Black Squadron Scout is 20 points. I was hoping 19 based on Countdown's cost.

Maybe you should rename the thread for more discussions.

I think most of the people are afraid of the word "soiler".

My swarm leader list just became possible.

HAHA didn't even realise I spelt it wrong

The 4th quadjumper pilot...meh. Pretty disappointed

Seriously. Absent effects modifying your agility value (which admittedly are pretty common) this is basically 'if you did a 3 speed manoeuvre, +1 AGI'. Meeeeehhhhhhh.

Does have an EPT though so might have some legs purely for that reason.

Full disclaimer that this is probably a really terrible idea, but as pointed out by a friend of mine, 25 points gets you Sarco Plank with Expose and Dengar crew for a modified 3 dice attack and three defense dice when you're going at speed 3...

Yarp it's terrible.

2 rerolls is solid mods, but not amazing mods, and 3 dice is solid dice but not amazing dice. It's basically N'Dru but with a less flexible dial and no missile. So, none of the things that make N'Dru good.

Sarco ability feels like it should have been an X wing title. Still, like the Quadjumper and what it can offer.

I like Sarco, but only because I wanted an EPT (Stay on Target) on a ship that was cheap enough to only block and tractor.

The extra agility is just a bonus, but I love the feeling that it has so many options.

Agreed. With that dial, this ability is really meh.

I think it works particularly well with the dial.

There is now a more even chance that the ship could use any one of its 3 speeds, making it less predictable. Until now I had only looked at speed 1 (for reverse) or speed 2 (for all the options).

Not sure why people thought the upsilon dial would be like the lambda. There was zero chance of it not having at least a hard white.

Bedwetters, in X-Wing?

What is this madness?

How the hell did someone get all of these already

******* sacro is a massive disappointment

should've worked when attacking the opponent too

I was expecting a dial better than a Lambda, but I was not expecting it to basically be a Lothal Rebel with a stop instead of a K-turn.

If it had a K-Turn, it would be _terrifying_.

Sacro is immune to agility modifiers like tbeam tokens, expose, outmanuever, etc. That's pretty interesting if nothing else. Plays nicely with a friendly launching him via the tug array.

Oh hey! I think we found our answer!
