Sugestion to FFG - Subscription...

By iGaveHimLife, in CoC General Discussion

Now.. as I understand it, you are giving us full card lists for each pack. as in 3 of each... so if we by the packs.. we get the card.. and can just get one of each release to keep 100% update with a full deck set to make any deck building choices were we need 2 of any card type... (I assume things like Alaskan dogs that can have 8 in a deck.. have some kind of special release thing happening)

Anyway.. I think you guys should provide a subscription system like comic stores that put away issues for you off the top of there first order or a MMO or something... were we subscribe you take it out of our cards and just mail them as soon as they are rdy...

I think a subscription would be a grea idea. My game store, Pandemonium, orders my asylum packs, won't call me when they're in, and does not pull from the general inventory. Lluckily there have so far been enough to cover my request.

If this is how they act you should buy your games somewhere else.

mischraum.de, I thank you for identifying bad business behavior. It's just the way it is some places. It's the perfect storm of New England surliness and unapologetic game store geek antisocial discussion. You could stand there waiting for a long time as two game store stereotypes debate the most square thing adnauseum. Game stores are just often sniveling environments in my parts.

I have spent literally years quietly making my face know at Pandemonium to get to this point. They're the best (only) gig in town. They bought out Your Move Games in Somerville (which is not an impressive store yet). The Compleat Strategist closed its Boston location. Asylum Packs at $9.95 in store is just as cheap as ordering and waiting.

It's their loss (and my loss and FFG loss and Cthulhu's loss). I have been ravenous for a gaming location to servitor for ever. These guys are in my neighborhood and have a huge game room, involved schedule, and nice online boards for communication. I just can barely handle the time it takes to peruse their nice used books and wait my turn to buy my packs as the black lotus is snorted over.
