I'd hoped that with the base set, we'd see the release of the other blisters that have been teased (shown in this here thread: https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/234425-master-product-list-releasedannouncedrumored/)

On the "Upcoming" page, we see the Base Set and the Dice Pack, but nothing about those blisters, not even under the "In Development" section. To those of you FFG faithful: do they ever sneak in products on the "Upcoming" list, or does the absence of these unit expansions on that list indicate that the Base Set and Dice Packs will be released alone?

I sure had hoped we'd see a bigger "wave one" release for this one, but I reckon I'll get plenty of good play out of two core sets for a little bit anyway...

It's still possible yes or they just release afterwards. They won't go on the upcoming page until they're actually announced

IIRC, I think Imperial Assault Core Set arrived before Xmas rather unexpectedly. Here's hoping for this!

I gotta think if they are having tourneys in late March for Adepticon... this has got to arrive sometime in Jan?

My guess would be that this is correct. I just don't see those other (very cool sounding) wave 1 expansions arriving at the same time if the Core set has been at the printer's since about Nov 30 and we haven't yet heard anything about them.

Even if we don't smaller releases at the same time as the core set, I'd still be happy. This is coming from someone used to waiting for Armada releases and making due.

It's an in-house IP (intellectual property) because the whole realm of Terrinoth is owned by FFG. Since they don't have to get approval from Lucasfilm (for Star Wars products) or any other licensing corporation, the time between development and release should go more quickly. However, I would imagine that the time from announcement to printing to release should remain about the same.

In the latest GTM (Game Trade Magazine) it shows Runewars releases in February with no additional blisters between now and March

not just that...they have a "in house" department designing the miniatures now

I think the new "in-house" design facility will speed up time from design to manufacture and we will see a more robust release schedule then IA.
