With the awesome news item about the card packs containing near 3 of each card so we can finally do proper deck building (YAY!!! FFG you have renewed my faith!!)

Anyway... I have a few questions.. .. .

1) dose this mean you will be re-releasing the existing packs in this format? Or dose this mean the 2 expansions "Summons of the Deep" and "Dreamlands" will NOT be released in this format?

2) Also.. how will this affect "Deluxe Expansions" with the eagerly awaited "Arkham Box" ?

3) Will this also mean that the original Starter Kit will now be re-released with the triplicate card form as well?

4) If the starter kit and Summons of the Deep and Dreamlands will be re-released... will there be some kind of version mark on the cards so collectors in years to come can tell that my original set of summons form the deep for example is from the old release format?

Anyway, again this is tremendous news this new system and what you said in your news article was so correct, while even though it was good compared to CCGs, I personally now many players that opted out of this LCG format as they were disappointed with the deck building and thought that buying 3 of each pack was somehow cheating them... it was weird seasoned MTG players that spend a fortune, were turned off the LCG format as it wasn't what they thought it was from the way it was advertised.. just go to BOARDGAMEGEEKS.com and check the massive thread in the COClcg fourm to see many people talking about how they stopped playing cause of this... I think this will really increase the player base!! Frickn fantastic foresight and props for listening to us.

Personaly I only got extra packs to make certain decks I was trying to get. I know already that I will now buy every single pack to get the full set now..I think many others will as well.. witch is why I am hoping that teh CORE, the DELUX packs and Summons of the deep and dreamlands also get this treatment.

The announcement indicated that the upcoming expansion is to remain two per card. Also stated, cores will remain one per card, in favor of variation versus triplicates. The change to 60 / 3X begins with the next cycle, not dreamlands. About reprinting in different quantities, I'd bet my sledge dogs against it.

FFG has no financial incentive to re-release existing asylum packs in a new format. Lots of costs for them, and minimal (if any) additional sales. Your sledge dogs are safe, Shoes.
