It is just a scientific hypotheses and has NEVER BEEN PROVEN that there are real people outside the United States. Our friends from the great state of Minnesota have kept their promise. We are getting our toys a few hours before our movie so we can play with them in the theater. All this other stuff is complete nonsense that has never been proven.

I find it unfair that some players have world championship trophies while others do not. I call upon FFG to put world championship trophies in every expansion pack.

I also think that everyone deserves to play X-Wing. Therefore expansion packs should be free. Corporate greed is the only conceivable reason that they are not.

Oh yes, certainly first world problems. War is happening, people are dying from war, starvation, crime, all manner of things. Bigger picture is there and being observed.

You think it is fair for it to sit in a warehouse, or on a back shelf, within an arms reach, taunting us. Just because you can't play with it at the same time. Should we all wait until you actually have the ship in hand before we open them? Why are you so important that everyone else has to suffer? Should I wait to see Rouge one until after you? Not really communism, more fair opportunity. If both were out at the same time in locations I'd have no problem with it, especially since FFGs articles do state that we would have them before Rogue One, however, that was not the 100% truth. They have broken their promise, again.

The issue I have is that there has been a precedent set by street dates and such where people have had to wait for a particular date to get said items. For something like this it should be a worldwide simultaneous release, if it was a week late, I'd understand. We are talking just under 3 weeks though, that's a significant time difference, especially during a regional season.

As I have previously stated, I was upset and disappointed, have stated my argument, and have calmed down. It is just a game after all. It does not change the facts:

• FFG's articles say we'd have them before Rogue One.
• We aren't getting them before Rogue One.

I'm going to say a street date doesn't, nor should it, mean world wide release. It simply means that nobody can release it prior to that date. Street dates while I don't love them I'm sure have some merit. Holding up tons of merchandise indefinitely for the sake of a simultaneous world wide release doesn't benefit anybody. It doesn't even benefit those that were getting it last because it doesn't mean they get it sooner now, it just means that everybody else suffers longer with them. Then again we all know what misery loves.

But seriously, who really cares if Region A gets stuff a week or two before Region B? It's really not something worth getting mad about.

Especially since you're not going to be playing against anyone who isn't in the same boat as you. It's not like those of us in the US are going to fly over to another region just to play you at a casual game with the new stuff.

If it makes anyone feel better, I live in the US, and have never bought an expansion on the street date. For that matter, I don't think I've ever even seen a new wave until at least a week or two after the official date and I see people on these forums already playing with them.

Granted, I'm no hardcore player. I made my first actual purchase from Wave 9 only about two weeks ago...

So what we get our new toys a little later in Europe. We get to see the friggin' movie several days earlier!

I will join you in being royally pissed off at FFG. The TIE striker generic pricing is a crime against the force. The named Quadjumper pilots mostly suck hard. Probably won't even get a Quad now, and my main faction is Scum. If trends continue, 2017 will be the year X-wings sales go down, and possibly go down hard. This game is great, but they are dragging it through a Sarlacc pit. Like they say, you can't polish a.....

We have plenty of new players, and I think we had this year plenty of more expensive than usually releases with the ghost, shadowcaster and heroes of the resistance all around 50 bucks.

And the number of ships had been in general quite high.

Fangs are amazing, jumpmasters are awesome too, especially manaroo, the arcs, have you seen those beautiful clone war ships? Wave 8 and 9 has been awesome. A lore more awesome than the rather boring wave 6 and 7 which brought us mostly ships which only got playable thanks for wave 8 and 9.

Interesting - the UK isn't getting them until early January. I'd assumed this would be a Europe-wide distribution issue, but apparently it's just the UK.

Really? That's a case of Your Mileage May Vary - or in this case, parsec - because I think the Quadjumper is amazing. So amazing, in fact, that after exclusively playing Empire for three years of X-Wing (as well as in Armada and Imperial Assault since they were released), I've jumped to the Scum faction since the Quad was spoiled.

Huh, weird. 5th January is the revised UK release date for the Rogue One ships, so there's some consistency there at least.
