Attacking Characters and Warlock Quests questions?

By Wulfher, in Talisman Rules Questions

If my character lands on a space occupied by another character and I decide to attack him, do I encounter the space itself next? And can I pick-up any objects left on the space after I fight the other character?

Can one attack another character in the inner region or only encounter the spaces? What about casting spells at each other in the inner region, is this allowed?

When completing a warlock quest is one teleported back to the warlock's cave each time? And does one begin his next turn in the warlock's space after being teleported there to recieve a talisman or is he teleported back to his original space?

"In the Inner Region, a character may only encounter another
character on the Plain of Peril, the Valley of Fire, and the
Crown of Command." (p. 19)

All other spaces you encounter the space. Casting is allowable as normal, still needs to be a legally castable Spell.

Why are you completing multiple Quests gran_risa.gif ? In case of the Warlock Quests ending, you might have missed the bit about not getting teleported for the first three completed Quest (nor do you get a reward for them), you only hop to the Cave when you complete the 4th Quest. In a normal game, yes, you bounce to the Warlock's Cave every time you complete a Quest. And you continue from the Warlock's Cave.

Thanks for the imformation Dam!! Sorry about hte third question! I didn't think it through properly. Your answers are most apprecited!

Why would you complete multiple quests? For when you lose your talisman because someone Shattered or Acquisitioned it. Or you lost it to Whirlwind or Gust of Wind and so on.

You complete a quest and get your talisman. You're heading into the Inner Region with your trusty talisman and before you reach the Valley of Fire someone shatters your talisman. Back out, get another quest and another talisman. Talismans are usually easy to come by, except in a game with 7 players, heh. lengua.gif

In a 7-player game, I'm thinking PvP is a faster way to get another Talisman then a Warlock's Quest gran_risa.gif .

With Frostmarch,.... a talisman is more difficult to get..

that's enough for me, to get a warlock quest..

Otherwise,.. the warlock quests would be pointless ..

Weirdly, since Frostmarch, many of the games have seen the "Talisman deck" (of only 4 cards I'll grant you) either empty or with max 1 left. Temple rolls of 10, rolls of 6 with Casket, Hermit, etc. seem to pop up frequently. And that emptiness includes those Talismans that have been Alchemied (when gotten in early game), returned to the deck and re-acquired through another encounter.

I was just thinking about the talisman cards itself, because frostmarch don't have one.. happy.gif

But it's true indeed that you can also get some by rolling die's on adventure cards and temple etc.

When we have play our first game with the frostmarch, i completed at least 1 warlock quest.

I am happy that i did, otherwise we don't have to use the warlock deck, if we can find plenty of talismans in the adventure deck..

Haha, so true. Especially when one of those players has 2-3 talismans. sorpresa.gif
