Difference in packaging?

By Teloch, in Star Wars: Armada

So looking over the next waves packaging

they both appear to be small base ships, the Phoenix Home comes in a box, yet the Imp Light Cruiser is in a blister pack?

Why?

Larger packaging allows them to charge more than the blister.

The Pelta is probably a slightly more expensive model than the CL to produce/paint. But it is probably mostly for customer psychology to charge more.

Well there are smaller small ships, and bigger small ships.

Small ones have the perpex 'rod' as a stand, and come in a blister, big ones have a fin and come in a box.

It appears the Arquitens is going to break this rule.

Pelta probably has more upgrade cards as well.

The MC30 and Glad were sold in boxes not blisters as well.

Nebulon-B and Victory sends their regards.

Both medium ship right?

Nebulon-B is on a small base.

MC30c and Gladiator are also on a small base and not in a blister pack and with the same price point as Phoenix Home.

Points wise there is not that much difference between the gladiator/phoenix home or nebulon-B/arquitens but the latter two start a bit lower.

The Pelta-class ship has fin's that might make it hard to fit in a blister like the Light cruiser, and also might be simply that like what Mad Cat said, it could more expensive to make.

Luckily I'm only buying one Pelta but may get 2-3 Aqui-10s.

Why is this a problem now?

It happened with the MC30.

It happened with the MC30.

Also the Gladiator.

The difference in size between a Raider and a Gladiator is notable, even if they're both small ships. Larger small ships get boxes, smaller small ships get blisters. Simple as that.

Dont care.

Shut up and take my money!
