So I just opened my Carnevale of Horrors scenario pack and several of the cards have been scribbled on front and back by a magic marker. Has anyone else received theirs yet? if so, were there any cards scribbled on?

Mine were not marked.

I'm guessing these were marked because there's an error on them and they were not intended to go into a pack...

Thanks for the response, I will look into a damaged components request. Maybe they were supposed to have a carnival goer back instead of the standard card back?

My pack is sitting in my mailbox at home.. I'll crack it open later to see if there are any differences in my version of these cards to the pictures posted (unless someone beats me to it!).

Sure do.

They probably should have the standard back because the Poleman cards have Spawn instructions which tells me they should be in the encounter deck and the third looks like the final boss for the scenario.

Per the setup instructions, there should be seven Masked Carnevale-Goer cards. I can account for all of them in my set:

So the Polemen are definitely meant to be shuffled into the encounter deck.

At least before their Asmodee buy-out-, FFG had top-notch customer service response to stuff like this (I had one piece missing from one of their big box games, and when I asked for help, they resent me the entire game, plus a free novel for my problems). I'd definitely get in touch with them for replacements!

I just got a notice from FFG that my order has shipped, I assume is is a clean copy of the scenario pack. That was quick!

Just one more reason FFG has such a large percentage of my gaming budget.

I wish I got a copy with marked up cards, it would have at least been the product I ordered... instead they just sent me another copy of Curse of the Rougarou instead... (the order invoice definitely says Carnevale of Horrors). Ugh...
