Is the Rancor really the standout unit from Jabba's Realm?

I've had great success with it on terro, granted most of my armies consist of equally impoing figures and he doesn't draw a lot of fire, but with mounted he can get the flamethrower off and still get the extra damage giving him the same damage pool as new luke.

I played 3 rounds of skirmish last night with the following list:

Rancor, Onar, Shyla, Vinto, Greedo, Jabba, and Beast tamer

The Rancor plays were really a key. He drops fast (the one match I lost he dropped on the 1st activation on turn 2 before he ever got to attack), twice an enemy shyla was able to use focus and command cards to put net 8 damage on him in one hit (even while trained). The new command cards for hunters really chew into the viability of Rancors.

The standout unit for me was Onar. For 6 points he did soooo much damage. I expected him to be more like a bantha, but in reality since he is a small figure he is a lot easier to hide. And the lack of defense combined with immune to harmful conditions means he removes most of the good surge options for attackers (no sense on piercing or harmful conditions). On top of that he has the versatility to hit decently from a distance and to really punish units at point blank range.

Shyla did ok, but I found her a little finicky needing command cards to really shine. Vinto didn't do much, but didn't bad either - overall much the same as greedo but I was a lot more cautious with Vinto as Greedo is going to get off his parting shot at least.

Jabba was awesome. Focus and a command card every turn. I didn't even order a hit at all - and the one time my opponent did I X-mann'ed it.

Command cards wise I think we will see a whole lot of new cards in the mix. I had the chance to use on the lam to cancel a focused, hidden elite weeqay shot - that saved a 6 damage shot on greedo. Heightened reflexes came up a lot. Both of those cards are interesting because you can see what the results would be before you choose to use the card. Stimulants worked very well and works wonders with Onar.
