Basic Tuganomics

By Sonikgav, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Been toying with the Quadjumper and i figure the easiest way to use them (other than 5 of them) is in support of a big damage dealer.

It looks like the sort of ship you can drop 1 into a list and can work but i figure why not give myself something more extreme to test.

Bossk (45)

- Rage

- Mangler Cannon

- Ketsu Onyo

- Inspiring Recruit

- Boba Fett

- Rigged Cargo Chute

- Maneuvering Fins

Unkar Plutt (29)

- Outlaw Tech

- Cluster Mines

- Cloaking Device

- Pattern Analyzer

- Spacetug Tractor Array

Jakku Gunrunner (26)

- Tactician

- Conner Net

- BMST

- Pattern Analyzer

- Spacetug Tractor Array

Total = 100.

Ill admit, i dont know much about Bossk. Never flown him but this seemed to work.. i think? Rage for focus and Pseudo TL, Mangler combo's with Bossks ability to increase the damage and Ketsu/Boba let him pursue and cripple targets that the tugs have weakened without them needing to shadow him and leaving themselves open.

Unkar is an experiment. The 2 attack on the Quad isnt great so testing the Cloaking Device. Moving so early with the option of forward or backwards moves gives him some good Bomb opportunities and thanks to the Analyzer he can pull off those Red reverses, still drop or Tractor and get his defensive focus too.

The Gunrunner is a little beefy just because i had spare point.s Tractor/Analyzer is standard but i added Tactician so he has a control element at range 1 and 2. BMST is more to put a hurt on PTL Aces that are still stressed from the last round and the Net, again at PS1 he will have opportunity, but it was more a 'i had points' choice.

Thoughts?

Tbh I'm actually really tempted not to bother with Unkar and run 2 of those Gunrunners.

If I also drop the bombs that leaves me with 56 points left for damage, either 1 Big or 2 Small perhaps.
