*bounces up and down happily*

By Stenun, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

I don't think I've "bounced up and down" for at least 25 years. With happiness or anything else.

But today, while in Yuggoth, I beat Shub-Niggurath all by myself. Never won one of those "fight an AO by yourself" encounters before. It made my week to finally do so. And my Investigator only had a Fight of 3 at the time! :-D

Wow, congratulations! aplauso.gif

I have yet to win one of those encounters. A friend of mine got _very_ close once against Cthulhu, though.

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen one of those... What expansion did they come in?

CotDP

I recieved CoTDP for christmas. Since then we have played some sort of combination of CoTDP, Dunwich and Innsmouth about 10 times. One particular friend of mine has had the misfortune of fighting Ithaqua not once, but twice. He was able to emerge victorious both times. I did not even know it was possible to be caught in the unyielding grasp of the other GOO's. I eagerly await my trips to the other worlds now.

I beat Cthulhu once with Monterey Jack. He came out of it with max sanity of 1 and max stamina of 2. gui%C3%B1o.gif

Well THAT'll teach me ...

So much for my happiness ...

In today's game Sister Mary had to fight Shub-Niggurath all by herself and was promptly devoured. Even though Shubby was the Ancient One in that game and only had 5 doom tokens at the time. And then a little later on she woke up and ate everyone else, too. *lol*
