what is your current list?

Manny and the Mandos

Been flying variations of this list since the Fang released. Been tunung it ever since and this is the one i settled on just before worlds started.

I think everyone had that one in their list builder the moment the fangs were spoiled it is such an obvious and awesome lst. Imagine you have interceptors which can use their whites as well, the mobility is madness. ^-^

(on a related note, I think PTL itself was a mistake and mechanics like adaptive ailerons would have been the way to go for interceptor style fighters instead.Limiting the option focus+TL.in the same round massively. Action efficiency is just to important, which makes things like Mindlink or PTL a necessarily.for so many lists)

I ran triple Phantoms today.

Sigma Squadron Pilot 23

Sensor Jammer 4

Tactician 2

Stygium Particle Accelerator 2

A blast to fly, and the evade on the turn you decloak as well as Sensor Jammer makes them surprisingly tanky. The key to the list is range control. It helps with dice, Tactician, and decloaking on the next turn. Also, don't be afraid to block with a cloaked Phantom. It's a good blocker, what with the decloaks. Make a tight asteroid field, and dance around it and in it.

I am perpetually attempting to find the awesomest Boba Fett list and this is the current iteration. Fearlessness is made for Boba Fett.

Boba Fett (Scum) —39 Fearlessness 1 Tactician 2 Glitterstim 2 Engine Upgrade 4 Ship Total: 48

Ketsu Onyo —38 Veteran Instincts 1 Dengar 3 Glitterstim 2 Inertial Dampeners 1 Engine Upgrade 4 Shadow Caster 3 Ship Total: 52

The TIE/D title for Defenders has always been more interesting than X7.

The Murderize

Glaive Squadron Pilot —34 Predator 3 Ion Cannon 3 TIE/D 0 Ship Total: 40

Glaive Squadron Pilot —34 Predator 3 Ion Cannon 3 TIE/D 0 Ship Total: 40

Scimitar Squadron Pilot —16 Fleet Officer 3 Twin Ion Engine Mk. II 1 TIE Shuttle 0 Ship Total: 20

Just for something different. It will handle defenders pretty good if Teroch is flown correctly. Against other stuff, just OK.

M3-A Interceptor: · Serissu (20)

Attanni Mindlink (1)

Stealth Device (3)

"Heavy Scyk" Interceptor (2)

Heavy Laser Cannon (7)

G-1A Starfighter: · Zuckuss (28)

· Mist Hunter (0)

· Cloaking Device (2)

Tractor Beam (1)

Protectorate Starfighter: · Old Teroch (26)

Attanni Mindlink (1)

Seismic Torpedo (2)

Autothrusters (2)

Concord Dawn Protector (1)

Whisper + Gunner + FCS + VI + ACD

Delta x7 (x2)

heading to a small tourney in a few hours :)

Edit:meant to add my current list:

VT-49 Decimator: · Commander Kenkirk (44)

Predator (3)

Seismic Charges (2)

Anti Pursuit Laser (2)

· Emperor Palpatine (8)

· Ysanne Isard (4)

TIE Defender: · Countess Ryad (34)

· Lone Wolf (2)

Stealth Device (3)

TIE/x7 (-2)

The only thing I've struggled against is triple X7 Defenders, however, once they start chasing the Decimator I tend to slow roll so they bump me and have a bomb to drop. There's probably room for improvement on the Decimator though.

And I'm still unsure about the Ryad build. She's incredibly hard to kill with the build she has, but when she inevitably gets too close to Kenkirk she loses out on attack and defence rerolls. Plus when the SD breaks she is easier to kill. The PTL and MK2 ion build I usually run is great as you grt a target lock focus and evade every turn. Needs more practice and consideration I think.

This list can be frustrating to play against, because both ships are extremely difficult to "catch". On the other hand... it's only a 2 ship list, both ships are very expensive and as soon as one of them gets hit, the game can be over really quickly.

Whisper + Gunner + FCS + VI + ACD

Delta x7 (x2)

heading to a small tourney in a few hours :)

Please report back. I've been wanting to try this but haven't gotten the chance. High PS ships and turrets are my biggest worry.

4 rounds:

Vader prockets VI EU + classic Inquisitor, Ryad PTL

Vader prockets Adaptability + PS3 X7 defender (x2)

Dash classic Kannan crew + Miranda TLT plasma torps EM Rey crew

Biggs + Zeb + Pava + Tarn

TLDR (first time flying it)

Only one ace with more PS ain't a problem (rocks, range + Evade) and two good blockers are enough.

You'll roll lots of dice (both colors), make your peace with the gods.

It has legs, working on next iteration...

48 pt. Corran, 52 point bid. Best list ever.

I am still running with the same list I've been running since the latest FAQ, and I'm still undefeated.

>Palob Godalhi - Mindlink, TLT, BMST

>3xTansarii Point Vet - Mindlink, Title, Mangler Cannon

It's hilariously resident on the field, with each Scyk functioning as a mini-Defender. Speaking of Defenders, Palob plays hilariously against them while the Vets provide focused for against any foe.

After making the cut in a 90-player regional with juked Rexler, Carnor and Omega Leader a few weeks ago, I've decided to swap Rexler out for a 39-point shuttle in a 4-round tournament today. It was Captain Kagi with Sensor Jammer and Palpatine.

At first glance I thought that there were far too many points invested in the shuttle but the abilities combine so incredibly well that I ended up going 4-0.

Round 1 was against Rey/Norra and I won on time as it was a nail biter (both Carnor and Rey were con their last hull points). The next was against Bossk/Dengar, and I ended up trading the shuttle and half of Jax for Bossk, so OL did his thing. Round 3 was against a stress-Braylen, PtL Norra and procketless Jake. I ended up with Jax and the shuttle at death's door and a full OL vs Jake when time was called. The last round was against Commonwealth Defenders and I ended up winning 200-0.

I just might take this to my next regional.

Edited by darthlurker

Kagi and carnor are nasty together. How do you load Jax?

2 lists...

2 x Gozanti, each with Automated Protocols and Dual Laser Turret.

8 x Royal Guard Tie Interceptors, each with Predator. 300pts.

It's a bit swingy on the dice, but should do well. Only problem is I only have 6 Royal Guard pilots and 4 Predators...

Otherwise, going to fly a list I've faced and beaten twice and lost to once recently (but with a tweak):

Rey (one of the usual versions - VI, Finn, Kanan, New Title, Snuggled Inertial Dampeners)

Chopper, with FCS, Hera, Han, Autoblaster Turret.

I've faced a Lothal Rebel with Dorsal Turret but no Han, while Rey had Engine Upgrade.

Vessery, Tie/D, Tractor Beam, Crackshot, MK2 (38)

Backdraft, Adaptability, FCS, Special Ops Training, Mk2 (30)

Omega Specialist, Crackshot, FCS, Special Ops Training, Concussion Missle, GC (32)

The missle is compensating the pattern analyzer which is not yet released over here. Adaptability on Backdraft is used to bring him down to 6, yes you heard right.

It allows in the first round and every other, where i need a TL on the enemy or tokens to be stripped, for Backdraft to shoot first. And if i already have Vessery set up i can go first with vessery to get maximum damage potential out of the tractor beam.

Also the missle on the omega tricks people to switch priority from Vessery.

Record so far:

Corran + 2 Bwings 1:0

Miranda, Braylen, Biggs 1:1

Dash + Norra 2:0

Han Jake 1:0

Palob + 3 mangler mindlink scyks 1:0

Old Fennaroo 1:0

7:1 so far and except the corran game and the win agains MBB everything else was in a 22 player tournament.

the only loss was against MBB in the final round where i wanted braylen dead instead of tractor beaming him out of range to shoot me back and he got my vessery and won in time by 2 points. Had i chosen otherwise braylen would have fled the battlefield ;(

All in all i was scared how this list yould perform against high PS but the firing arcs just kill stuff and iam pretty impressed by the SF so far. Keeping in mind pattern analyzer and lightweight frame i am excited what this ship might be capable of.

Scum Boba is amazing. Still not sure why he doesn't see more play. Toughest part if finding wingmen for him. Ketsu is an interesting idea but personally i use 2 Mindlinked HLC Scyks. Boba runs in close and the Scyks snipe.

I've had good results with this:

Boba Fett (39), Engine Upgrade (4), Glitterstim (2), Fearlessness (1), IG-88D (1) -- 47 total

IG-88C (36), HLC (7), PTL (3), Advanced Sensors (3), Autothrusters (2), Inertial Dampeners (1), IG-2000 (0) -- 52 total

Boba gets in there and knife fights while IG loops around on the perimeter firing the HLC.

Well; I'm flying all sorts of crazy stuff.....but I'm flying:

“Whisper” (39) – TIE PhantomJuke (2), Collision Detector (0), Mara Jade (3), Stygium Particle Accelerator (2)

Tomax Bren (34) – TIE BomberCrack Shot (1), Proton Rockets (3), Extra Munitions (2), Proton Torpedoes (4), Guidance Chips (0)

Valen Rudor (27) – TIE Adv. PrototypeWired (1), TIE/v1 (1), Stealth Device (3)

Kagi and carnor are nasty together. How do you load Jax?

I've always found Carnor to be weak against TLs and Glitterstim, and Kagi shields him from one while the emperor helps him survive against the other.

Push the Limit (3)

Heavy Laser Cannon (7)

Outrider (5)

"Hot Shot" Blaster (3)

Countermeasures (3)

Nien Nunb (29)

Veteran Instincts (1)

R7-T1 (3)

Experimental Interface (3)

Black One (1)

Pattern Analyzer (2)

So I'm not the best at flying, but this list is easy mode. Dash has one turn without donut hole woes and Nien is an absolute monster built this way. I don't know how I never spotted it before. NN with EI and R7-T1 is just incredible! (3 for 3 currently, that's unprecedented!).

I'm currently running:

Corran w/ VI, R2-D2 and FCS

Poe w/ VI, R5-P9 and AT

Airen w/ VI

All PS 10 and regen surprises a few people.

Really want to get Jake into a list but always struggle to get a good list with him that does not compromise except from Han/Jake

For the last 3 weeks I've been using the following:

Rey with Finn, Kanan, TFA title, Smuggling Compartment, Glitterstim and VI

Norra with Kyle, R2-D2, PtL, title and VT

Been to two tournaments in that time and went 3-1 and 4-1, only losing to the eventual winner both times so it's doing pretty for me!

Glitterstim hasn't really done a lot for me so thinking about replacing it with burnout SLAM and Countermeasures as an attempt to save some MOV.

Nien Nunb (29)

Veteran Instincts (1)

R7-T1 (3)

Experimental Interface (3)

Black One (1)

Pattern Analyzer (2)

I've been handed a very similar Nien Nunb build that I think may be slightly better...

Nien Nunb - Rage, R3-A2, Pattern Analyster, Experimental Interface, Black One (38)

The main advantage over the one you're using there is that tying your Boost into R7-T1 makes life a bit harder to get into range 1 and shed stress. The rest of it is very similar so it's just a refinement of what you've got there - you have to drop down to PS7 but you add stress-dealing into the Astromech slot.

  1. Perform a Tallon-Roll. That's a red move but you've got Pattern Analyser so don't take a stress token yet.
  2. Boost to get an enemy at Range 1.
  3. Use Experimental Interface to take a second action.
  4. Activate Rage for a Focus & Rerolls on your attack.
  5. Gain 2 stress from Rage. Discard them thanks to Nien Nunb's pilot ability.
  6. Gain 1 stress from Experimental Interface. Discard it.
  7. Check Pilot Stress - gain 1 stress from your T-Roll. Discard it.
  8. Shoot your opponent and use R3-A2.
  9. Gain 1 stress. Discard that too.
  10. Repeat from 1.

Fun times!

Edited by Stay On The Leader

Wish I had more time to play as I have about 300 lists I've built but never tested. Anyways; been tearing myself away from Mindlink shenanigans recently to catch up on this thing called Imperial Veterans I heard about. Currently running

Omega Leader w/ Juke & Comm Relay

Rexler Brath w/ Juke, X7 and Twin Ion Engines

Vessery w/ VI, X7, and Twin Ion Engines.

I used to try and fly Rexler and Vessery a lot back in the day but was never very good with them. This is an updated list from the Wave 4 era with a whole new ship and whole new way to fly these guys. Been super fun.
