The Light Cruisers want to keep the ranges open so will fire broadsides more often so expanded armament or DTTs may be better. I would make one of them have Needa and TRCs for the same cost as a spinal.

Drop advanced gunnery as your ISD doesn't benefit from it as the word "Cannot" on the Gunnery team card is not able to be countered by the scenario rules. Most wanted is a good alternative with your cheap Gozanti.

Id like to try for double arc with them and be able to use the front arc even if the shot is obstructed, spamming movement command. I know they are harder to manuever than a corvette, but why wouldnt I give it a go? Trc-Needa is on my radar, but in this list, Vader is there for the rerolls, hopefully there wont be too much blanks, and I can preserve that evade to stay alive.

For advanced gunnery, I would pick one of the cruisers, not the ISD. It also doubles the ship points if its killed. Last tourney my opponent was happy to put it on a Home One with Ackbar, but I destroyed it for the extra 114 point ending up 9-2 win. So... the cruiser is cheap enough, free extra 3 dice is always welcome. It really is a double edged blade. I know it would be more beneficial with Enhanced armaments, but because Im going to try double arcing (braces less effective, with bombers aid redirects burn faster). If I fail, I have 2 points left to change spinal for enhanced.

I suppose spinal can also be used to double arc out the rear while running away.

Technically true, but only coward rebels flee. ;)

Imperials advance rapidly rearward.
