All expansions

By Lesseps, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Am I understanding this right: all six expansion sets can be played in one single game, resulting in huuuge board with few towns to visit and hundreds of cards in play?

All 6 simultaneously?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can play that way...

Great! Thanks a lot !

The most i have done so far is CoTDP, DH and IH. It actually made for a fantastic game. Our GOO was Nyarlathotep so it was not the most challenging game.

The madness has hit to us 2 weeks ago!!

AH+DH+KH+IH and Chtulhu as GOO... We have lost of course...

Wow... do you mean I'll have to buy some big transformable table in addition to all 6 expensions ? :) Or we should use some floor space ? :)

You CAN play everything at once, but it isn't necessarily MEANT to be played all at once. I'm willing to throw in all the small boxes I have, but I usually only play with one big box expansion at a time. Of course, Lovecraft's stories were all about people going beyond the limits of what mortal man was meant to know, so don't let me stop you!

I actually prefer to play this way. However, I have to include a couple simple house rules to make sure that the Dunwich Horror track, the Deep One Rising track, and the Three Acts deck stay relevant.

Hey, I paid for all these components. Why not put 'em all in there and see what the game has to throw at me?

Absolutely agree. We're going to add expension 1 by 1 to make new rules come easier to us, but in a result, we're going to be involved in total great madness! :) Hell yeah!

One of my favorite things about Arkham Horror is that with all the expansions you can customize each game. I have never tried to play with all the expansions at once. Just not enough table space.

We typically play with 2-4 big box expansions in play. But, only do one smaller card expansion per game. We find that by playing with only one card expansion that the flavor of that expansion tends to make some impact on the game.
