I'm loving all the hate for this ship. Gonna make it so much fun to use. Time to finalize my Imperial build featuring the Island of Misfit toys...
I'm excited to play against it. Not so much play with it.

Soooo...VSD, Arq, GSD2?
Vader, Interdictor, 2x Arquitens, 2x Gozanti, and some squadrons.

I LIKE that. I like it a lot

I thought about something similar but with Spinal ISD1 in the place of Interdictor. And Jonus ![]()
Surely a ship this cheap helps Interdictor and large ship builds in general, as you can now squeeze in convincing long range damage dealers to herd and harass the enemy whilst the big ship either brings the big guns to bear or let's you do the interdictor shenanigans with plenty of firepower points left in the fleet.

Vader, ISD-I, 3x Arquitens, 2x Raider I (one with Instigator). Full stop.

Why Instigator? A cheap meat to delay bombers for a round? Keep in mind that squadrons can still attack non-Instigator ship, they only thing they can't do is move.
So everyone takes tua ecm and then they say f! I need Intel officer, then they look at officer slot and see tua's skinny butt hogging the chair. .. interesting give take there

Jonus for sure! I like the Interdictor as then the whole fleet is effective with broadsides. The Interdictor really doesn't care where the enemy is.

Yep, Insti works best with a couple of ties, I love getting tie bombers shooting at tie fighters.
It's going to look good in my display case.

Ship is nice, upgrades are just nuts.
The thing im most worried about is the manouver chart, as I dont really want to invest in ET to get the ship rolling.
All this concern however pales in comparison to the huge disturbance in the force caused by a Tua isd 1.
All true, however I feel that his attack is weak compared to a gunnery team ISD.
What Isn't?

It's to spread the bombing threat. I hold back Instigator until some of the enemy bombers are activated. Then Instigator jumps in preventing the second bomber activation from hitting the same target. I went to two Raiders because I felt like the TIEs were really just becoming a points sink that didn't do anything for me if I didn't have a significant bombing threat to worry about. The Raiders are completely expendable against a large bombing force. They're there to make sure the ISD hits home.
So Jonus, Arq+TRC is the Imp version of Home One TRC90 fleet, and a whole lot cheaper. Free Acc and double hit with every attack.

Its just weather Jonus is easier to kill than Home One is, or not, relatively speaking.

I think this die fixing might be good enough to make you switch to full time Imp player. Get some Escorts and you'll be good to go.

This. Coming in Wave 99:

Don't forget that Jonus is a fighter and hence he's comparatively vulnerable. You would have to invest into saving his buttocks only to make this work.

No, not really. Not much on the Imperial side excites me to play... I had some fun with the Interdictors, especially the 2x G7s, because no-one else was doing it... It was a bit of fun to see if it would work at all, versus just seeing if it would work for me, if that makes sense...
Same as the FCT on an Interdictor at the same time. Does a first-activation nose-punch work? That was fun.
For me though, Fleet Command and Token Shenanigans is more my Game... I've always been a huge proponent of Garm, and I don't see me using any Rebel Admirals other than Garm and Sato for quite some time, at least...

I see. I think that you're overestimating the effect this sacrifice would give you, but I hope to be wrong there. In 6 activations fleet I would also think about Slicer tools flotilla for a similar effect.

I've been trying to make Garm work for quite a while and I haven't been able to. I'm excited now.
