I know that January is quite far away, but I think this is a good time to ask for a list, since no new ships are in sight and the only new thing that might be out by then are the Striker and the U-wing.

Anyway, the problem is that there has not been much X-wing activity here, so there is no "local meta" as far as I know. Last thing people were playing was when 3x Jumpmasters were dominating around June.

I am pretty sure there will be Defenders. Might be palp aces and some random unique scum list.

I was quite good back then with Corran+Dash, but that was ages ago. So, I am open for suggestions for a list to train. What I have is in my signature, but I am sure I will be able to borrow some ships or cards then. I really don't want to play Scum, as I have never flown then before.

Last game I tried was with the Worlds Corran and Miranda list and failed miserably, since Corran did not get a shot.

Today I will try out Rey+Poe with PtL, bb-88 and Kyle, Kannan combo.

Basicaly, the components should be available by start of January

So, I settled on

Rey — YT-1300 45

Expertise 4

Kanan Jarrus 3

Finn 5

Engine Upgrade 4

Millennium Falcon (TFA) 1

Ship Total: 62

This leaves me with 38 points to find a perfect squadmate for her. I am sure I need the engine upgrade, because I am not that good with final repositioning. On the other hand with Expertise I can not both boost and take focus and the use of Kanan is limited to sloops so he is not working much. With PtL he works every time.

It's a shame nobody gave you any feedback sooner... I'd go with your Rey build because it seems good and for the 38 points left, I'd go with Mitanda because she is just outright better than the other guys listed. You really need a second ship that is fast if you're only running 2 ships, otherwise they will get dogpiled and destroyed fairly quick. Miranda certainly isn't slow, so she should do pretty well.
