just wondering whether an upgrade fix to the punter could give them an area effect to their ordinance attacks?

I'd always pictured the punishers firing something like this

"just take assault missiles" would be the obvious response, but if the up side of the punisher was that they always had that area of effect, regardless of what ordinance they took, they would become effective anti swarm ships.

even if it were something like:

"immediately after performing an ordinance attack against an enemy ship, you may perform a primary weapon attack against all ships within range one of that ship"
