I think if Imps get a regen trick, its probably gonna be limited to one ship, like Miranda's ability on the K-Wing.

I like the fact that imperials have the most ways around shield regen, I really don't want imps to have regen and counter regen. It gives imps a different facet to the whole ship regen thing
I would actually like for more Hull repair than shield regeneration for Imperials. Maybe make it something like randomly flip one face down damage card then discard all remaining face down damage cards. Only question would be for which upgrade slot should it be. Crew, Tech, Modification?
Gonk + RAC. Hot stuff.
We will never get Regen outside of ship specific titles because of Vader Crew.

Good point. So I guess the best we can hope for is face up flips like moff Jerrored or Face up discards because Vader gives out damage by face down cards.
Or a large-based ship using energy, then we could use a WED-15 repair droid or construction droid.
Imperials have Comm Relay and Gonk.

Gonk?

Moff JJ should have discarded a faceup card for discarding crew instead of flipping face down. Heck, Determination discards a card for one point less and doesn't have the discard crew restriction (OK, Pilot only, but still).
Quickdraw says no.
Why not?
Dengar already has a better version of Quickdraw's ability (no need to take damage), and he can actually regen.... And I don't see anyone crying "Doom!"

That's because they cry OP OP! Not doom, haha! I mean, not that Dengaroo has ever made me worry, but some people think it's too good. And while Dengar himself can muck up your day pretty fast he also has to eat a bunch of stress to do it. Quickdraw just slaps you with FCS. Besides, a Gonking Dengar is a totally different kind of regen than what Rebels can do. Gonk really wants to charge up for a round or two and he needs actions to do so. I guess Gonk works for Scum and isn't OP because you have to bank him a bit and you do have to build around him to get him to work.
Besides, I think that a TIE/SF with Sensor Cluster, FCS and Lightweight Frame(?) is going to be a real brick. Imagine shield regen on a ship that tough, that's too much. And more to the point, there are plenty of builds in the Imperial arsenal that would be too powerful with shield regen. Palp Defenders with regen? No thanks. I say this as a TIE Pilot and avid Empire fan. Please don't give us shield regen. We would become very unsavory opponents very quickly.
Dengar is the exact reason theyre being cautious about handing out mechanics now.
The entirety of that stupid ship is broken as hell. Every pilot, every mechanic, every perk, EVERYTHING about that ship is overpowered for its price/flexibility. If Dengar had a dial that had no white sloop, red right turns, and lacked the barrelroll would you still see his amazing ability around? Hell no, because now hes a liability not the main threat.
Quickdraw is essentially light Dengar, with the bonus of being able to attack anybody in exchange for limited retaliation attacks.
