Rebel Escalation List! Advice Needed!!!

By Jerval, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Working on coming up with an Escalation list and trying to decide order to add for most impact and efficacy. I am expecting a lot of scum likely with feedback arays/BMSTs. Despite that im thinking a list with 3 blockers and 3 dmg dealers 1 being a stress hog should hopefully work out alright. But I am unsure and am entirely open to suggestions.

Looks decent. You've got a lot riding on Corran in round 1, but hopefully the regen from R2 should help out there.

I'd consider swapping Keyan and Thane around, as I think getting the stress control earlier would serve you better than just another big gun.

Is this an escalation where you have to keep previous ships but can't change anything on them? More to the point, are you allowed to leave points unused, then fill them later? If so, I would suggest a bit more of a staggered approach. You are pouring everything on Corran in round one, but with some smart flying and intelligent use of the double tap, you may be able to pull it out.

If you are able to swap out parts, then keep the Bandit in your first round and drop him in the second. If not, then just leave him out. I agree the stress mule is important earlier on in the fighting. Keyan is able to deal very consistent damage set up that way. Just be aware that without Advanced Sensors, you can't Rage-green-fire and be left with no stress. If you are able to add things to unfilled slots on ships in the tournament, I would consider maybe adding something different in the last round. Add AS to Keyan, and use the other 27 points to add something else. Maybe:

Green Squadron Pilot — A-Wing 19

Push the Limit 3

XX-23 S-Thread Tracers 1

Snap Shot 2

Vectored Thrusters 2

A-Wing Test Pilot 0

Ship Total: 27

It's at 3PS, so can likely still be used as a good blocker. Better even, as Vectored Thrusters allows for some additional repositioning, and Snap Shot makes it so that if you miscalculated, you may still be able to push some damage through. Plus can support by lighting up a target for the rest of the squad.

ya it's standard rules so once it is in it has to stay in, and i agree with swapping thane around. i havent had the chance to try it out at the 150 pt bid but otherwise im thinking put AS on keyan and toss in another B and maybe torps on thane. or tossing in a biggs so i can focus fire but not too sure i wanna try it out at 150 and see but if you guys have other ideas for ships let me know sadly i dont have heroes yet so i dont have any snaps...

Tournament went Really well! overall went 3-1 and took 3rd place overall, only down fall was round 1 where it came down to a roll off! as neither of us were able to kill a ship in the 50 minute time limit.
