Earlier, I tried to calculate how many sessions it would take (assuming a standard rate of 20 XP), but I got my math tangled around in my head somehow as soon as I got to the "is this achievable within a human lifespan?" question. That was when the calculation was in the 30K range.

I'm gonna need paper to figure that, I think. Maybe tomorrow, as it's getting late.

I do try! But that's mostly because my Brain beats me with a stick if I don't get it perfectly right. I was JUST able to convince her that it's okay to leave off finishing for tonight, but only because I can do the rest tomorrow. So I'll be back with the final results tomorrow afternoon.

Could be lower because that is assuming a 20XP/4 hours of play.

That said, you can very easily become a one-trick pony, e.g.: an all Brawn droid with maxed Melee and some lethal Melee talents can be done within 200XP or less, but the character will pretty much suck at everything else .

As a status update, I just finished Saber Throw, and the range is now 90,550 to 91,835. I thinking the final range will be somewhere between the high eighties and ~90(-ish) thousand.

Just as a FYI, 90,000 xp, 25 xp a session played every week would take 69.2 years to accrue, so anyone who isn't a japanese woman younger than 18, you'll be dead before then....have a nice day......

Keep in mind, new career books being released will ever so slightly lower these values, as more copies of various non-ranked talents become available. The only way they go up is either A) new Universal specs are released; or B) the unknown Force powers average more than 145 xp to buy the whole power.

So between 4463.75 and 4539.5 sessions. And between roughly 85.841 and about 87.298 years of weekly sessions at twenty XP apiece. For an average of 86.5695 Years. Whoo Hoo!

Just remember that 3rd edition is scheduled in 57.83 years which revamps the whole xp process. I heard rumours of measuring xp with live chickens so we'll likely have to start over then.

Surprisingly enough, the live chickens method is MUCH easier to calculate. You can just count the eggs - what could go wrong!

Okay, I did a review to make sure I didn't miss anything, and it turns out I did: I forgot to account for the free rank in Survival that Mountain Niktos get, which adds the potential for a third double-upped skill at CharGen, and subtracts an additional 10 from the minimum-maximum. I was so focused on the fact that they get Natural Outdoorsman that I forgot they get other stuff, too !

That gives us the final range of 89,265 and 90,790 xp, for the moment. I'm going to re-audit my work on species and make sure there isn't one that can discount by more than 25, but I don't think there is. I'll let you know!

So, if you average exactly 25xp per game, then you need at least 3566.2 games before you can get there (assuming you start off with 110xp). At one game per week, that would be at least 68.58 years.

If you average exactly 20xp, then you need at least 4457.75 games. One game per week would require about 85.73 years.
