I'm experimenting a bit here. The idea is to use the Z95 to pin down enemies with the Ion Missiles to capitalize on Rey's insane damage output when the enemy is in arc. Does this make sense?

Rey without Kanan is a very sad Rey - it opens up so many options for her as to feel like an auto-include, and to me she seems a different breed of ship from the defensive Falcons of old so C3PO is less of a necessity.

I also shy away from Engine Upgrade on her, as I find she rarely needs or uses it. My own personal choices for her are Crack Shot and Smuggling Compartment+Glitterstim, but Adaptability/Veteran Instincts and Expert Handling are both good choices too.

As for the list overall, I see what you are aiming for but I fear that Rey is too obvious a target here and once you lose her, your damage output is practically nil. With Rey, I'd argue that she works best with a single, equally threatening, wingmate, as it's hard to build a credible 3 ship list when she has all the tools she really wants. To that end, I've seen others have success with Norra, Corran or a VCX-100 in that spot, but personally I find Miranda to complement her the best.

As a bomber or a turret station? And why Kanan?

hanks for the input meanwhile. Better like this?

Finn (5)
Kanan Jarrus (3)
Glitterstim (2)
Smuggling Compartment (0)
Tactical Jammer (1)
Millennium Falcon (TFA) (1)

Miranda Doni (29)
Twin Laser Turret (6)
Bombardier (1)
Cluster Mines (4)
Vectored Thrusters (2)

Kanan on Rey is nice because she can sloop and not gain stress.

Oh? I always read this as not possible for the ship he's on himself. But now I see.

If you are going to take Kanan wouldn't be better to take Push the Limit and Engine Upgrade?

I would go with Swarm Leader Rey

Rey (45)

Swarm Leader (3)

Cluster Missiles (2)

C-3p0 (3)

Finn (5)

Smuggling Compartment (2)

Scavenger Crane (2)

Guidance Chips (0)

Ahsoka Tano (17

Veteran Instincts (1)

Captured Tie (1)

Green Squadron Pilot (17)

Adaptability (0)

Snapshot (2)

Chardaan Refit (-2)

A-wing Test Pilot (0)

My interpretation of Swarm Leader makes both cluster missile attacks augmented.

Fly Rey aggressive, target PS9 first while sheltering Ahsoka.

Guidance Chips change Finn's blank result to Crit.

An alt variant of the Green Squadron Pilot is to swap Snapshot for Trickshot and add Auto-thrusters.

I would rather go with Swarm Leader Rey

The problem you might have with Push the limit on Rey is that she ends each turn stressed. Yes she can then clear it on a white the next turn, but what if you need to sloop to keep arc on somethig? Kanan can't clear the 2 stress you will have at that point and you won't be able to focus - that or you will have to prepare to sloop by not pushing the turn before that.

I can see it working situationally but it does increase Rey's cost even more (and the oppertunity cost is losing the PS boost of adaptability or VI which can also be really key depending on the situation).

Swarm Leader is Primary Attack, not Secondary?

Well now that Expertise is spoiled I think it could suit her very well...
