Does anyone have solid info on the release date for the upcoming wave? I'm trying to efficiently sort out my preorders from MM and not have something limbo in purgatory.

FFG does not use release dates.

Once the stuff is available you can buy it.

Going by how long it took doom to change status from on the boat to shipping. I say it should change status next week. Doom was on the boat on 10/5 then went to shipping to store 11/29. So Jabba's realm should be shipping on 12/14. Now I could be wrong and it could ship sooner.

They tend to update status of products on the upcoming page on a weds/thurs. The release will be 2 weeks after that date.

So Armada Wave 5 got updated to shipping now yesterday for a probable release of 22nd Dec.

Unless it gets changed today that means it's likely that Wave 8 is going to be after Christmas?

Since the Asmodee merger I have a feeling the Upcoming page is always updated with a delay. IIRC The previous wave was practically in stores already when the page was updated to Shipping.

They've attempted with X-Wing recently, to not allow the stores to sell them - even if they're in the store - untill a certain date. It's not a firm preset date as such, though, but announced when the products are just around the corner.

Well Armada's next wave set just changed to "Shipping Now"...but Imperial Assault stayed the same. I'm guessing it can still change by end of this week or sometime next week.

My guess is 12/22/2016.

Armadas release date is set for the 22nd and has been confirmed for almost a week now. Given we haven't heard a peep about IA I wouldn't hold your breath for before Xmas. Super happy to be wrong though!

I'm really, really hoping for an update today. Friday seems to be the magic date for IA, so I guess we'll see.

Mhm. I have my first real, full-on, legit, weekly Campaign scheduled to start on January 6th. Was hoping to have at least all the available characters painted by then. Seems I'll be lucky to have them even playable by then. Too bad, I really like how Onar is so different than all the other heroes!

If the Release date was going to be the 26th of January, you couldn't count on an "Official" Announcement until the week of the 10th of January.

We got updated to "On the Boat" earlier than both Core Box and Return to Hoth. I never would have expected that we'd end up getting it later than both, too.

Then again, it is the year 2016, so "abandon all hope, ye who enter" is pretty much how every situation needs to be approached at this point.

I did get an email from Miniature Market today about points I've received. Haven't ordered anything else from them in a long time other than this wave, so that's interesting.

Though I'm pretty sure they ran my card with the order, so that likely means nothing.

I'm pretty sure FFG pulled a "surprise, it's in stores now!" stunt with other products. Like the Force Awakens Core for X-wing.

Pretty sure that happened with MOM2 as well didn't it? All of a sudden it was just here, and hot as hell and then sold out fast.

We are hearing 29th December for Australian release and the same person locked in 22nd for armada a few weeks ago which has been solid....

Just seen another credible uk retailer announce 12 January for the full wave. Looks like it will only be Armada and Doom before Christmas.

Yup, 29th is confirmed as gospel. The boxes are ready to go, even if the US isn't ready for it.

One distributor here is saying if you pre-purchase, they'll ship it/ready-to-collect 2 days before due date.

I presume that also means 12th Jan for the whole of wave 8? Who knows...

It's Christmas and I can't afford any of it right now anyhow - it can come in Jan/Feb as far as my wallet is concerned
