Dice Pack is Here Finally!

By chico2323, in Mansions of Madness

Reference link is on the FFG home page. Nice to finally get this and it comes with 6 dice as well (more than the core box) which is a deviation from standard dice packs.

Very glad to see them listen to us :)

Let's see ... hundreds begging to spend money with FFG ... FFG produces item beggars want ...

FFG selling plastic crack ...

Take my money ... please ...

:P :D

Three sets of those please.... ;)

Well needed! Finally! It's a shame we'll have to live with an uneven total amount of dice, but I suppose I can pick up two packs and toss a die.

This seriously made my day! Nice!!!!!

Happy to see this. Just played with a full group last weekend and definitely felt the need for more dice. Will pick 1 or more packs up at release.

Going to preorder 3-4 packs of these ASAP.

Hi, I'm really looking forward to be buying the franchise and wondering why a 2nd dice pack is useful? Can anyone shed light on why more will be useful?

Often your character will be able to roll 6-7 dice, which means rerolling 2. People also just like to have 1 set for each player so you don't have to pass them around the table.

Handy tip if you also play X-Wing and are on a budget: Mansions of Madness dice have the exact same face distribution and layout as an Evade die with 3 success (elder sign / evade), 2 focus (magnifying glass / eye), 3 blank.

I think that "often" is a bit of exaggeration. I played 9 games of MoM2 and remember only 2 instances when we had to roll more than 5.

Just take an investigator with an attribute of 5 and give him one of the items that grant +1 to this attribute from the start. You will roll at least 6 dice all the time, whenever this attribute comes up...

About to get greedy here...but I wish they came in about 4 different color choices!
