Liberty + GT + Sato?

Raymus and navigation teams?

Even though I do like the idea of OE on a Sato Liberty, the more I think about the more I think I would run something more like:

MC80 Battle Cruiser (103)

Liberty (3)

Gunnery Teams (7)

Leading Shots (4)

H9 Turbolasers (8)

Spinal Armament (9)

And then season to taste from there as points allow. The idea is to swap in blues at long range to 1.) have a die guaranteed to be an accuracy via H9, and 2.) gives a blue die for LS at long range. And if you don't have as much need for the accuracy, you can swap in a blue and a black, or even just two blacks if you feel like that would be better in that specific situation (e.g. at medium range).

I've been thinking some more about the Liberty, and here is another version that could do well.

MC80 Battle Cruiser (103)

-Raymus Antilles (7)

-Nav Team (4)

-Ordnance Experts (4)

-Leading Shots (4)

-H9 Turbolasers (8)

-XI7 Turbolasers (7)

It's a hefty 136 points, plus the 32 for Sato, and likely 60 odd points for squads, so that is around 220 points already. I'd also consider running a Pelta with Entrapment Formation so I can spam CF to get the extra die and reroll from Raymus.

For objectives, I'm considering Advanced Gunnery as red objective since it will never get picked. I was thinking about Contested Outpost and Solar Corona for the other 2 since it forces your opponent to come to you or you get deployment advantage. And you can keep your Redirect since your opponent has to roll 2 Acc on Solar Corona. I figure Solar Corona will be picked the most, which is great because the Liberty is really great at flanking. Raymus and Ahsoka are also a great combo. With the free CF token, I can change it to a Nav token so I can get extra yaw to either threaten with my front arc or set up a double arc.

The turbolasers may seem redundant, but it allows me to outright kill smaller ships like CR90s, Glads, and Flotillas, or push damage through by hitting Brace and only 1 damage is being redirected which will put a lot of pressure on Vics, MC80s, and ISDs.

For the dice, swapping 2 reds for a blue and a black, or even more likely 2 blacks. I'm pretty confident with 2 reds, or 3 with CF, I can get a hit or crit to switch to an Acc, or get one naturally. Rolling 2 blacks with OE is excellent at long range, and boosting that to 3 with CF makes it all the sweeter. Plus Raymus grants a free reroll making the dice more stable.

Yeah, I like the H9/XI7 combo a lot. Good idea on the Nav Team/Ahsoka/Raymus chain, I think that could work really well.

Basically creating Madine with the three of them, and with Entrapment Formation I never need to run a Nav command. I'm only worried about investing too much into supporting this 1 ship so I need to figure out exact point costs and another heavy hitter, likely Admonition or Salvation, that can really benefit from Sato and the speed buff.
