I was going for an E-Wing that drew upon both old and new canon as well as didn't improve Corran too much if at all
Corran R2D2 and FCS are still just as powerful but now you really don't have to worry too much about extra stuff on him
the droid computer and the system upgrade both give up something to use and you can't pull an R2 R2D2 combo this way.
And the retrofit gives the E-wing even more in its toolbox of terrors as I always imagined it as mainly a toolbox ship.
The droids are all droids from the old EU that I love
Whistler being Corran's droid works well with him but is not as consistent as his other two counterparts for droid shield regen
Vape being Garik's I wanted to work well with his ability and give something extra so i had him base off of target locking and give an evade, also fun for a fcs droid combo if you have a high enough pilot skill (or give Garik VI)
Tonin was my favorite since this little droid is known for completely messing with imperial computers and hijacking an entire ship I figured giving him the Jam action was fitting, and terrifying.

New Republic Recruit: Straight forward rename
Phantom Squadron Pilot: There was no reason blackmoon shouldn't of had an ept to begin with, so I fixed that with the modern canon's equivalent to Wraith Squadron
Joph Seastriker: Bloodline pilot. He flies through tight cooridors in the book to help leia out so I figured his ability should make him more survivable in obstacles.
Kirney Slane: Aka Gara Petothel, Aka Lara Nostil. A wraith squadron (ex imperial spy) I figured her ability should have an intelligence agent feel to it because of the whole spy thing
Garik Loran: FAAAAAAACE one of my favorite EU characters Garik was known for his Squad Leading. I Figured his ability should feel like a plan coming to action, by target locking he's giving another ship an opening to attack the first ship. (I also left it so he could taka an action too, keeping with the whole toolbox thing)
Greer Sonnel: Oh Greer. She has bloodburn which to those who don't know means that flying at high velocities can actually boil your blood. Yikes. That said she's an ex racer who trained under Han Solo.... She's used to taking risks
