I am excited about her, thinking of something like this, what do others think of this build/her use in general....

I could see that working - it's similar to the mynock special build but with OL swapped out for Duchess so it is build on a solid foundation.
You are basically trading the late game trolliness of OL for a better arc dodger. I don't know whether it will be stronger than the OL build but you might find it works for you...
I went to a local tournament quite recently and whisper was quite popular as she is strong against defenders but she also has some quite bad match ups - VI Rey is popular at the moment plus obviously Dengaroo. (which will normally have a larger bid than yours)
I know I didn't play during the hay day of "Buzzsaw Whisper" so I never really saw its effectiveness. In my opinion a Whisper that shoots second, assuming focused fire, should usually get at least one hit through with her 4-5 dice. This would negate the Gunner I think. I retooled the list, swapping the PS order of the lead ships. Hotshot added to Whisper ensures a token strip for PS8 Duchess with some newly acquired dice mod to hit harder. Thoughts?
