Okay, so we've all heard of the Blockade Runner, but what about her sister fleet, the Blockade Maker?
The idea is that the whole table becomes a wall. I'd advise using some larger asteroids in that phase. Two on the edges, but within range one, of wherever you want your line, and then one in the middle. Deploy your Y Wings near the edges of the board. As you pass your wall's asteroid, leave behind some cluster mines. Now you should have two lanes to funnel an enemy through, and two Y Wings behind the new front line. I'd keep your other ships behind the wall, to take advantage of the lanes.
My idea:
Gold Squadron Pilot (18)
Bomb Loadout (0)
Cluster Mines (3)
Gold Squadron Pilot (18)
Bomb Loadout (0)
Cluster Mines (3)
These Blockade Maker Y Wings cost a total of 42 points. You can add in more ships, and maybe give your newly infiltrating Y Wings some torpedoes?
Don't forget that board area denial power, with your asteroids, and mines, though.
