No clue, but I was thinking the same thing. Kind of has a bulk cruiser look.

Other thing we learn from that fly-by...
...whatever the heck that new ship is, IT'S BIG. While it passes in front of a Nebulon-B (so it's closer and would appear larger)...it certainly seems to dwarf it, nevermind the CR90 between the camera and the ship.
It's definitely Mon Cal-cruiser sized, anyway...

Just a Vibe to me... It has the slightly bulbous head, the thinner neck, and the slightly wider baseline - but its not Corellian in its Engine area, which made me say its not a DP-20... Which would be a Bigger Brahatok anyway...

Almost thought it was a U-Wing at first, but you get a few seconds flying towards it, and...only ever has those 2 engines lit (U-Wings have 4). Not to mention that it kinda seems too big for a U-Wing. (Maybe not, but seems like)

If that IS a Brahatok (and watching the clip in HD over and over...I'm like 90% sure it is, viewed from the side), and they bothered to include it here...
...I mean, that's one ugly ship. Only reason I can think of to bother doing that is if they mean to indicate it IS the same fleet from ESB. Which, given the size/state of that fleet...vs what we see, here...gives you a sense of how this battle is going to go for the rebels...

I agree. Just like they had a YT-2400 a couple of episodes ago on the TV Show. My son was convinced it was going to be Dash, turns out there is more then one YT-2400 in the Star Wars universe.

That is highly debatable. The Imperials are perhaps the least inept throughout ANH. The Empire is almost constantly dominanting the Rebels. Thts what makes the tension of the film works.
