The U is interesting for sure but there just hasn't been anything interesting enough to get me to fly rebels more than once.

I put wedge Luke and biggs on a table once just to kill some time.

I might be secretly racist against the rebel faction. It just doesn't speak to me for some reason.sometimes I wish it did. But, I sneak out of the imperial house to roll around with the scum quite a bit.

UPS is gonna be good, striker average, with some movement shenanigans.

Rebel tie is good, but not strong enough in its own right to move the needle much.

U-wing is something I can't quantify yet. It's either leaps and bounds better than anything else rebels have at that point value, or more average stuff.

The quadjumper is similarly unquantified.

But for whatever reason I'm more excited about the release of the Striker and U-Wing than the last releases.

I'm in the same boat. OTOH, I promised myself that I would give Rebels a go once HotR dropped. Tonight's the night. . .300 points of Poe and Rey plus Red Squadron.

For extra fun killing, I'm looking to try out Wedge with Swarm Leader with Biggs and a couple of crack shot A's.

Giving Wedge 2 more reds, while reducing the defender's green by one is going to be ridiculously fun.

They dont fly the same. At all. People who only fly one kind of ship are at a severe disadvantage. How can you understand how a ship moves if you refuse to use it yourself and experiment?

Though i have to admit my experiments have warped my judgement a few times. Dunno how many times ive predicted a suicidal pattern with a ship because i know from experience it can do it and be completely fine, and my opponent didnt do it and caught me off guard lol

Though wave10 is when i finally get into scum since that tugboat is delish looking.

Nope. I fly all three factions fairly equally and enjoy the nuances of each.

I fly all three, but Rebels is undoubtedly my least used. I couldn't find a single thing I liked about them after about wave 5, though. It wasn't until Snap and Jess arrived in HotR that I found myself having any fun with Rebel lists again. Actually, Wave 9 as a whole did nothing for me. I kind of drifted away from the game for that whole wave (and ended up getting deep into Armada as a result...). It was the first time since getting into the game during Wave 2 that I didn't buy at least one of everything. I still don't have a Protectorate or Shadow Caster, and I don't see that changing soon.

This wave, however, has totally caught my attention. The U-wing is odd, but I have hopes. Sabine's TIE looks like great fun, and has plenty of options. The Quadjumper is one that I've been looking forward to since they teased the possible reverse, plus Scavenger Crane is interesting. The Upsilon is providing a lot of Imperial support combos that weren't necessarily there before. The Striker is probably what I'm looking forward to most now, just because I love the mechanics.

This wave has recaptured my love for the game, I think.

Had a blast!!

I built my X-Wings with Comm Relay and R3, then got to the table and realized they do not get the Evade action. So used to Imps. . .

My bro let me change 2 to having plasma torps. He brought a build trying to use all 5 ESB bounty hunters. Bossk died very early under heavy fire and hitting a mine. Kath Scarlet missed flying off the table by 4mm. Rey handed out heavy damage early, then ran over a mine as well, taking 3 hits. Horton was a beast with the TLT. I landed 2 out of 3 of the torps for some pretty serious damage (one was max!). Fett scored twice with bombs. Zuckuss and 4-LOM were non-contributers.

3 hours later, we each had 6 HT on the table. . .me with a full Poe and my bro with a wounded Kath and Dengar. Poe tossed his T-70 into a Tallon roll and lined up an out-of-arc kill shot on Kath. My bro conceded that Dengar was not up to the task.

It was a close game. I came out strong, but got worried when Rey went down and I had 2 wounded T-70s with Poe vs. 3 hunters (Kath, Fett, and Dengar).

There are fringe builds with one IG ship and IG88D crew on another ship. But probably not worth it to buy an IG ship just for that if one does not get it very cheap.

I wonder wich Rogue One release date FFG is going by? In Denmark Rogue One is released Dec 14, so thats next wednesday. I hope the new shis will be ut before the Dec14.
