Wolves of the North

By mateooo, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

conduct an attack during quest phase...

is that an additional Battlefield phase, with formal declaration of attackers and defenders and all subsequent phases of combat, or is it just a free attack without possible defense.

Much like Abandoned Mine, this card seems to create a whole new step that is otherwise not in the turn flowchart. In fact, it seems to add a whole new phase

discussion? opinion?

This IMO. Though maybe not a Battlefield phase per se, more like you initiate the Action from the Quest, then go through the 5 steps of combat. Are there any cards/effects playable during the "Battlefield Phase only"?

Though only the Unit on the Quest may be declared as an attacker. Because the card says "...the unit questing on this card can initiate a single attack against a single zone controlled by an opponent."

I was editing my reply when you "butted" in gran_risa.gif .

what happens if you have two units on two of these quests?

1 combat with 2 units? or 2 combats each with 1 unit?

hmmm.

If the spoiler is correct, you lose the game for cheating gran_risa.gif :

"Unique: Wolves of the North"

If it were non-unique, I'd say the action-combat is resolved individually, one Quest at a time.
