Striker Swarm

By Rolotamasi, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So I thought of a way to make the most of the TIE Striker and what ay be my favorite upgrade in the wave, Swarm Leader. Since my first pass I realize that it can only trigger up to twice per round, but still, the more options the better, right?

The 2 titled strikers zoom ahead and block while the others hang back with Sabby and help him deal a bigger punch.

Why on earth you want so many Tie mk2??

Thats like 2 frames sacrificed....and you can archieve similar effects with adaptive aeilrons (bank+1s)

You can't use ailerons when stressed, so you need mk2 if you want long greens that aren't straight.

Still i would stick to frames ;)

Keep the Trainees around to fuel Sabby's dice and Fel as a sweeper/finisher. Or any other 35pt ace. Too bad Swam Leader is unique.

Honestly, I think your first list works just fine, but put Lightened Frame on the non blockers, and you're good to go. Solid list, lots of hull, evade, and attack dice to throw around.

Agreed, but the points don't work with the Mark II. Looks like this now:

Yah, that's what I meant. I assumed that the removal of MK ii was a given.

But you all know what happens when we assume...

I'm waiting to see if the PS4 generic varies an EPT. I would assume so, but see above on that.

If it does, I swarm of PS4 Jukebots with one Swarm Leader might make for some fun shenanigans.

I know this is a bit out-of-bounds.....but I think the synergy as the Strikers play in front and on all crazy-flying sides of opponents works well.
