Stand extenders for CR90/Nebulon-B?

By xanderf, in Star Wars: Armada

Can't say I'm a huge fan of how 'low' those two ships sit on their bases - basically even with the fighter squadrons.

I tried using some of the X-Wing base pegs, and those work...but now the ships are a bit higher than I'd like. And the fit is VERY tight on the ship side (thus...very loose on the base side, and the ship 'wobbles around' a bit as a result).

Ideally, I'd love something actually printed/cast that is the "correct" fit for those base sizes, as well as being exactly half as long as a standard X-Wing base peg.

Anyone see anything out there like that?

my issue is with the Nebulon... is it just me, or do they always get a weird angle on their pegs!?!

Yea my Nebs never point directly forward. Always looking off to the side.

It's the Neb head-fake. Mine do it too.

Annnnd...bugger, I spoke too soon.

MC-30s have the same problem - sit WAY too low for my taste.

No easy way to replace the stand on those suckers, though...

GAH! Why, with all these 3d printers out there, nobody is knocking out new stands...

You should probably check your PMs.

Then consider just how you enjoy Crow :D

What's the matter with low riders, homes?

I'm putting black lights under my pimped out Gladiator, and some spinning crowns on the chromed thrusters. Add deep base woofers, and then hit the Imperial March.

Or, are you thinking of getting a lift kit?

This one is much easier to fix: the fins for medium and large ships fit the MC30. Just swap in the stand for one of your bigger ships that you're not using.
