He and I both thought higher meant darker based on other topics. He just wants it for the power it brings, in his way amnyway
Dandoran and destiny OOC
Nope. If you want to start as a darksider you can change your morality to 29. As for wanting it for the power, isn't that a wee bt munchkiny?
edit: Also I'd advise getting the CRB ASAP. As it will clear things like that and offers expanded rules
Edited by avalon risesHe sorta misunderstood I want to try new things like this and it might be helpful
But it is a bonus
I mean, that makes sense as a character motivation, but if it's the player trying to minmax, it's not going to make much difference.
Just a couple sessions ago, Alecto had to roll three times to get dark pips at all... causing the protest, "No, the dice do like me! I need them to hate me!" And she couldn't flip a destiny point, because the Rakata holocron wouldn't open to anything but dark pips.
Those two barely use Force powers, too. Jen'et did once (got dark pips, flipped destiny—we've decided that she hasn't had any clear fall event yet, so she uses light ones) and Alecto's only used the Force dice for destiny rolls and opening that Rakata holocron.
The teal deer is that it's not that big a deal, mechanics-wise. The real effect is in the roleplay.
Edited by The Shy IonWait so at least two of were not broken what did that mean and are we in the same room .
You all were discovered and you are in different cells
What are we supposed to do and are we bound
Be creative but post idea here. You are not bound
Did we just time skip or something? We all set up posts for long interrogations and whatnot and none of us broke. If you are forcing us to break, fine, but at least let us roleplay it out.
What kind of dice would I need to do a mechanic check to break out
Matt, are you there? And... I second Odds' post.

And I third it.
The governor is a crafty man
The governor is a crafty man
First, who the fraking heck is "Govenor Darth"
2) If we are going to break, at least ask us to RP it out instead of just forcing our characters to break.
3) It doesn't matter if he's crafty, we Did not break. So saying that we did isn't exactly a nice thing to do.
4) Are you just copying the Force Fugitives game on Roleplaying Games.net? Because this game seems very similar. And I don't think I'm the only one who thinks so.
I will tell you right now point blank, I'm having major issues with how this is going, how the RP is being run, how things are being presented to us, among many other things. Matt, if you want, we can chat separately in PM or we can hash it out right here. Just know that if certain things aren't resolved, I'm backing out. And I don't think I'm the only one.
You aren't.
No, Odds isn't alone here. I've been having concerns for a while, and, to be honest, it seems like we've made characters we're invested in and you're just throwing stuff out there. Even when it doesn't make sense.
I like Rogu. I put thought and effort into her, and I'm sure the others did the same with their own characters. But it feels like you're just going through the motions. I don't know your reasons for doing things the way you have been, but... if you can't fix whatever the problem is, I'm out too.
Edited by The Shy IonI'm sorry and if I copied, it was unintentional. Will fix mistakes for in the future. But its too late for The past I guess. (Please note that that last phrase was not an excuse it was a further apology because it can't be fixed)(and Avalon, unless there was another typo it was supposed to be governor Carth

I'm willing to work with you and get passed this, just we've got work to do.
Did we break? Or was this just something going on in the background at the same time? Do we continue where we left off? If so can you add your side of the things and make up stuff for the stormtroopers interrogating us? Are you perfectly fine with Avalon's recent post, no issues at all? If so, it greatly changes what type of roleplaying we'll be doing in the future.

I noticed on his first post after he asked to join Force Fugitives. It's a generic concept to start captured, but to have a man come in asking for confessions in the first post is too close. A heads up Matt, I had the group do resilience and discipline checks to actually see if they broke.
Unfortunately for the invested players this is another case of a PBP set up and executed poorly. I hope it works out and you guys can continue, but I think the PCs are taking this much more seriously than Matt is.
Here's the link and first post in which Avalon rises is referring to.

Session 1
STAR WARS
Force Fugitives
The galaxy is torn apart by a civil war between the over barring Galactic Empire and an alliance of rebel systems. At the center of this conflict, the timeless battle of Jedi and Sith continues. After eliminating most of the Jedi Order, the Imperial Military is on the hunt for any remaining exiled Jedi and force sensitives. Lead by DARTH VADER, they have been able to capture and imprison a number of these force users on the Star Destoyer OPPRESSOR.
Onboard the Oppressor, the Imperials have detained the captives for days. These prisoners have endured what seems like endless hours of physical torture from a black spherical interagation droid. Never being able to move out of the lone restrainment chair that has locked them in these solitary interagation rooms. At first it was just the droid making its rounds. Injecting and probing each victim. After awhile officers and stormtrooper guards would come in. Each with their own style of abuse.
The most unnerving of the vistors was a slinder old man in an officers tunic. He walked in confidently, hands behind his back. His face wrinkled and cheeks bones very high. A quick look of discomfort showed in his face as he surveyed the interagation cell. "Primitive and nasty techniques." he murmers as he shakes his head.
"I apologize for the sitation. My name is Wilhuff Tarkin. Grand Moff of the Imperial Military. Unfortantately you have been accused of being force sensitive. A severe crime, outlawed by the Emperor." He shows a kindness now as he continues. Even resting his hand on your shoulder as he walks around your holding chair. "I am sure we can stop all of nastiness, if only you will explain yourself. Admit your heresy and you have my word you will never see that awful droid again."
When I created this guy I tried to create some kind of sherlock Holmes guy.
I wish I saw some dice but Avalon's post works
I am more than willing to roll dice and then go back and edit the post. It was vey iconsiderate for me to do what I did. Considering Im actually the one who put the stormtroopers in the cell, can the first part of my post stay. As for the rest, Mechanics check to open the locked door I assume.
