The Darkness Below rules questions (spoilers)

By profparm, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

We played scenario 3 last night and there are 2 big rules I wanted to confirm:

1) The Main Path no longer seems to connect to any of the arkham woods sections once the woods are explored. Is this right? We were very limited on what woods could be explored as we attempted to gain 9 clues.

2) The R1, which applies if everyone resigns, has among its consequences "The investigators are killed". Does that mean we are supposed to return to basic decks and start at gathering again?

Thanks!

The game text on the Main Path says it's connected to all Arkham Woods locations.

And yes you're killed, but since it's the last scenario of a campaign, it's more flavor text than of any consequence to deck-building. If you wanted to start over with The Gathering, you'd have to use un-levelled decks anyways.

1). The Main Path itself has text along the lines of "This location is always connected to all other woods locations."

2). Yep. No treating your investigators to some RnR in New Orleans after their encounter in Arkham. Their character sheets are torn up, chewed on, digested and all the rest.

That implies we had played other missions wrong; we went through the second scenario maybe 3 or 4 times while different players wanted to join in but we didn't want to risk them joining the last one heh.

Thanks for the responses!

A new investigator can always join in the middle of a campaign. Just note that they will always start with 0 XP.
