I see people building these lists with Sato and I usually see Tycho, which is great, but how come people don't also put in Han Solo? Solo and Sato are a match made in heaven.

Cost. Sato shines with swarms of fighters and you can fit two A Wings or X Wings for the cost.

Yea.. but you're paying a premium for reliability, what happens when those 2 A wings or 2 X wings get tied down before they get into distance 1? Arguably Han can also get tied down but he's less likely since he has grit and can hit like a truck and then move without a squadron command. I'm also curious if the fleet command All Fighters Follow Me! actually applies to Han's ability, I can't recall the wording though. Ultimately, Han or 2 of whatever are both valid strategies, but I never see my boy Han get mentioned.

AFFM doesn't apply to rogue, only to squadrons activated by ships.

Correction, I misremembered Han's ability as simply allowing him to activate at the start of the Ship Phase, when in fact it does specifically say "as if you were activated by a ship."

I still don't think it applies, but it's less cut and dry than I'd thought it was.

After looking at AFFM though, it's limited to squadrons that a "friendly ship activates", while Han's ability says "as if you were activated by a squadron command." So I would actually lean towards a no, it doesn't apply, since Han isn't being activated by a friendly ship. That would have been interesting though!
